Can we please do something about McVeigh? He rips us up every time!

I would like to see Tuohy play on McGlynn, it's a big ask but it's worth a shot early on.

Our biggest dangers are Okeefe, McVeigh, Goodes up forward, McGlynn running loose and Kennely/Malcevski and Shaw without an opponent. I reckon if we can solve these we will win.

Red and White ducks seemed pretty pumped for this game out to get a top 4 scalp - Few players on radio primed
and talking themselves up
Lets flogg em

Interesting half way revue on AFL Live app - Has us finishing 3rd on 74 points - by my count they have us losing one more game - now that would be impressive

That would make it the most points ever for a 3rd place finish.

If we finish on 74 points I would be very surprised if we are as low as 3rd but you never know.

Longmire seems determined to leave Goodes deep forward - even last week when Richmond were coming hard at them in the last Goodes stayed up forward. I guess they've given up on Bradshaw and have decided that Goodes is the main forward target for them this year.

On that basis I'm not sure Gibbs is the match up. He's great with Goodes aorund the ground, but we've got better match-ups for the leads out of the square. I would agree on the balance, we'd be better of resting Jamo this week and giving Bower a chance. The Eagles have multiple tall targets and Jamo will need to be 100% to face that challenge. Sydney's set up is based more around midfielders and small forwards.

Out: Jamo

In: Waite

Kieran Jack is a player I fear, good enough to take out Judd and really hurt him going the other way. Second game back this week too.

How many weeks has Mumford missed and has he played a reserve game on the way back?

Quite a few and no.

I think he and Seaby will split the time in the ruck; Seaby can take a catch forward...so Goodes, Seaby and Reid forward will stretch us.

I agree. He's a unique speciman. Dynamic, strong and explosive, with a damn good kick on him.

Get Judd to tag Jack, then control the game from there.
Judd can orchestrate anarchy from the untagged Murphy Simpson Scotland Gibbs Russell Carrazzo Curnow.

I reckon we'll be a great show to watch. I believe the tables have turned.

Mumford hasn't played any footy games, he's been overcoming injury.
He'll be fit if he's selected and he'll go well till he blows out. He and Seaby to feed their guys, or ours?
I'm not worried about them. As long as they don't attempt to deliberately hurt my Kreuzer.
Hampson and Kreuzer should at least nullify them and run them around a bit.

Dry fast track, and our blokes are going to move the ball pretty quick.
The boys are not suffering from a lack of belief, that's for sure.
I'm hoping we've hit our first purple patch since 2000.
We have a lot to play for and have a lot to proove.
I'm hoping the players keep a lid on it because their spot is at stake.

As for me, I'll take a bet with any Swans supporter for this game.
I'm not sure how many goals to back Tuohy kicking from the BP.

Go Blues.

McVeigh and Shaw always seem to do a number on us.

Must also be wary of the double barrelled forwards Trent Dennis-Lane and LRT.

Mumford hasn't played any games in the reserves and has missed the last 3 matches.

Swans are really rating themselves, hope we can take them down a peg. Can't stand them after the elim final last year

Crunch game.
If I'm to believe what is being said, Jamo will play and Waite to be given another week to get ship shape. But anything could happen between now and Sunday.

If Waite is fit, sorry to say but Bower should make way.

Teams trying to stretch us never works. It doesnt bother me if they try that. It works in our favour. They will have four tall blokes at the end the ball isnt and we will run them ragged with the extra rotations we will be afforded.

We need to win this one so that Paul Roos will have to admit we are a good team.
Mike Sheahan is quite bullish about the Blues on On The Coach and when he turns to Roos, he always gives a half-arsed back-handed compliment like "They certainly have the talent. They finished bottom for so many years" or "They are improving but is it enough for Sticks and Swann and the fans?". He either has a big hatred for the Blues or he is auditioning for Ratts' job.

Lets smash his Swannies.

Goodes will tear Bower a new one without a doubt. I have my reservations about Bower playing man-on-man ever since Bradshaw carved him up in the Elimination final in 2009. Yarran has taken on Bower's role now anyway.

Our tyres are really getting pumped up now. You just know they're all begging for us to lose the next two games.

Bower will get shown up in this game if we play him ... hopefully not.

This game will require toughness and resolve above everything else.

OK ... I admit it ... I am getting nervous nellie syndrome.
