At least someone in a blues guernsey has the balls to lay out a bloke that's instigated pain. Jake King was constantly coming in as the second tackler late and dropping elbows/knees/anything he could on Murph, Judd and the like. Not one Carlton player pulled him off by the scruff of the neck or gave him a deserved bump into the turf. The sooner this club grows some balls, the sooner will gain some respect and lift our intensity.

Agree 100%. Two weeks out is a small price to pay for exhibiting a bit of much needed mongrel. We need teams to fear the navy blue.

Can't believe people are sh@t canning Hartlett about the Richmond game.
He's played only a handfull of games and I thought he actually gave us a target at HF in the first half, just a bit too far on the defensive side of centre. Needs to be closer to true CHF.

Anyway, I'm glad he dropped howat, the flower deserved it.
Makes me laugh that howat got 3!

Hopefully Hartlett will come straight back in after his ban. Kruezer is more mobile and Hampson is a ruck option so it shouldn't be too much of a selection hassle to have them all in.

Good to see some mongruel at last.

Hartlett is a monster kick and I think would have been playing to instructions.

Happy with Hartlett's endeavour just needs to be slightly more discreet.

6 game or so - happy to give him a few more in a row at CHF to find his feet. Thats what we were whinging at Pagan to do with Josh Kennedy.

That's the thing isn't it Agro?

We were whinging at Pagan to play Josh. Now wer'e whinging at Ratten for playing Harts.

I can't believe some of the sentiment I'm reading on here. TC now has:

The President we wanted
The Board (more or less) that we wanted
The CEO we wanted
The Coach we wanted
The Coaching staff we wanted
The Development Staff we wanted
The number one picks we wanted
The marquee player we wanted
The captain we wanted
The player selection policy that we wanted
The injury prevention staff we wanted
The ground redevelopment we wanted

And after one loss with all this in place for the first time we get posters who want to jump the shark? What will they want next I wonder???

Not the worst by any stretch and he needs to use his physicality in the right way - should work hard to get back in and 2 weeks was a steal but agree the side lacks aggressors and protectors
like Fisher and Kennedy before him had his leads ignored so we can bomb to Fev with 3 on him
Team only started honouring Fishers leads etc at about mid last year and surprise surprise he kicked goals - need to trust other forwards - team needs to open its collective eyes to other options and leads

we need a bigger boat, so we can plough through that shark.
