A 14 point loss but lots of kids tried. Nick Stephens survived the first half and Hampson crunched Kepler Bradley.

No .. it was between 15 and 30 Rand.. don't know what that translates to in world-currency terms or in terms of what they can afford for a night out

Hartlett's game is the most encouraging thing to be taken out of the game. :-D

It might be hope, but I have a feeling he will finally get his body right this year and lessen the impact of Kennedy's departure.

Harts looks a different player in training photos and has slimmed down.

Paf, it's you and the other Chicken Little who need to give it a rest after BO was owned.

Well that's it then, extend his contract.

For we all know that practise games and pre season competition matches are an excellent pointer towards form in the home and away season.

So, to answer the original question, it was close enough to free but we still don't know if that's alot of money for the locals there

Ha, actually I'll be surprised if Hartlett and JR are on our list 2 years from now, and I never said anything about a contract extension, but it strikes me as slightly ironic that you think it's over the top to praise a recruiter when his selections are standing up and performing, yet it's completely logical to sack the same recruiter based on the fact that Scott Pendlebury is showing why he was a top 5 pick.

Interesting to see that references to the possible impact of Kennedy frtom WCE are as rare as rocking horse shit.

They have had a double page report about their forward line for 2008 that will feature Hansen and Lynch.
Not one word about Kennedy, even as a back up.

End of 2008....

JK walks out of West Coast and say he wants to be traded back to Carlton!

Glad to hear the following:

- no injuries
- Hartlett, Russell and Hampson all played well
- Stevens got through half a game with no problems

Overall I'm quite pleased.

This game would've been a bona fide "meaningless" win.

No more meaningless wins. We need access to the best young talent in the land.
