Port have been idiotic with Rozee (or Rozee needs to re-examine what true leadership means). Should have taken a couple of weeks off to fix his hammy, but instead he's come back way too early twice, resulting in 2 worthless performances bookending an "out". I hope they learn nothing and build their gameplan around him on Thursday.

Hopefully they consult Russell.

Rioli out is big. He is their most dangerous small forward. Will allow Cincotta to tag Butters perhaps.

Voss seemed to indicate unchanged team for this week. Only mentioned Motlop as a possible in.

With the VFL game on Sunday, and the next AFL game on the following Sunday, I’d be tempted to play the sub (and subee, if tactical) in the ressies on managed time. Especially with blokes coming back from soft tissues.

Interesting that the betting odds haven't changed much in the last 24hrs or so.
If Rozee wasn't playing I'd expect the odds to be a bit closer than they are currently (Carlton $2.25 Port $1.65)

The Hawks are actually playing good football but if they can run Port to within 1pt at the same ground (and really should have won) then there is no reason we can’t win this. The ground is certainly not a rational reason!
