At the end of the day it takes two teams to make a great game of football, tonight we were on the losing side. All we can do is bring the same pressure next week. The group need to have belief next week. |

Proud of loosing. @#$%&! that. We are shit. And we don't deserve to play finals. I hope Collingwood flog us next week. We should've beaten Adelaide. No point @#$%&! analysing this game. After Adelaide I said we ain't winning another game this year. We won't. |

Some positives... Setters played well, Young tremendous, and a shout out to Durdin's midfield shift, I'd like to see him in there more. |

@#$%&! it. Nothing less than that effort next week. Thought our match committee did really well We nullified Lever. Pickett and Fritsch hardly got a touch. Gawn killed us. Ruck has been a headache all year. Free kicks 23-13. Viney got every decision. Cripps was pulled off the ball in exactly the same manner but no free. All considered we were awesome. flower shame we didn't get the result. |

The problem is that the chance may not be there in 2023. Who is to say GC, PTA, Hawthorn, Essendon* and GWS won't be much improved next year? |

Skill errors at the end were poor, but I think the critical error was playing Pitto in the ruck for the last 15-20min. The mismatch against Jackson got us the lead, but it handed Gawn the advantage for the final shift. Pitto was on empty and Gawn wiped the floor with him. Whether you split that final stint into two shifts, or roll the dice with an alternate for the last stint… I don’t know. It wasn’t going to be Young, not off 100% game time. Maybe H was the one that should’ve gone in. Gutted with the result, but that’s as good as we’ve looked since winter set in. |

Agree, the late goal we coughed up in the dying seconds of the 2nd qtr cost us the game. I'd suspect we have coughed up more goals in the last 30 seconds of games than any other team, 2 tonight for starters. This is an area we need to improve in next year, top teams can play tempo footy and kill the game towards the end of each qtr. |
