This is an enormous get for our club. Now the hard work starts. Let’s hope those who were smart enough to get Cook on board now give him the space and support to do the job he was hired to do. It will take time and patience but now we at least have some hope. |

Reckon the signing of Cook, will make the Carlton coaching job more appealing, wouldn't be surprised to see the next signing to be Clarkson. |

Yup it’s a good day today, our Club will gradually start the process with an astute President , very competent Chef administrator now let’s bag a Coach and assistants with real ability. The positive momentum will be percolating to other departments one should think. Go Baggers |

We all know of Cook’s ability to unite people for the common cause. His record is second to none. My reservation is his age and his length of tenure. The club is a dogs breakfast at the moment His record at both West Coast and Geelong was built over more than 3 years. It won’t be an instant success thing But yes his record in getting organizations to unite and work together is second to none We are desperate for stability Can we poach Wells as well |

I see it more as a handover. He can still put a whole lot of measures in place in 3 years |

I'm enjoying the used car salesman vibe I get from the photos of Cook. |
