I think Synbad's first post on the issue of women's football covered it.

He doesn't understand it, doesn't know anything about it, doesn't know if it would work or not and can't be stuffed finding out.

Apart from that, he's all over it.

Of course i understand it.
Think back twenty years ago what the game was like

Close your eyes and look into the future and imagine the politically correct game were going to have.
And the broke clubs and competition

Women already play football..
I'm not sure what your point is.. Are you portending that you're progressive because women will be adopted by a male competition and breastfed?
Because they can't get it going themselves in your opinion?
My oh my!

Lame humor and your logic was non existent through this

Can you show us evidence and data that a skint Carlton adopting women's teams will be good for Carlton?

You still haven't illustrated how that will happen exactly.
Who conducted the study into this by Carlton?

Straight out deflecting won't work

Funny is if women aren't playing afl football they're deemed orange cutters by you blokes though

Why aren't you getting along to watch them now?
I doubt any of you blokes have paid to go and watch a women's game of football

I don't actually need to point anything out, because it's already happening, and will receive AFL and government funding.

I gave you a couple of stats on the previous page, 7 times more likely to go or become a member if they play the game.

More women playing can only be a good thing naturally based in the first stat.

One of only 3 Melbourne afl women's clubs for x number of years...

I'm just in IT management, got no idea about marketing but even I can think up of a myriad of ways to take advantage of that.

If Geelong can 39% of their membership being female then why can't we? Coming from way back at 28% but this would be a free kick.

Play out of princes park, making use of facilities that are free for us anyway..

It's a no brainer, but because you don't like the board you don't want to think about it being a positive.

That's your prerogative.
