Why does he hate us so much ?
It all started with the Curnow boys and umpire contact.
That was Naaf

I can’t recall an umpire more obviously against us in recent years, how the afl don’t review umpire behaviour and see the blatantly obvious ones like him it baffles me.
Only explanation is that it's an in joke.

"let's put Nafan in again and see what crap he can come up with"

Mike Fitzpatrick should be onto this. “So Nath, “ as Mike unfolds a map of outback QLD and NT.

“we’d like to recruit an umpire to develop the game in the northern regions of this fine continent and we think you’re just the bloke for the role”.

“of course, should you decline the offer, well we’d have to factor that into breaking your employment contract.”

Looking forward to a better hand on the injury front next year. Not looking good with Hewitt we can't take a trick...

Really not sure why everyone hates on Plowman so much, Your never going to have a team full of stars, He plays a role yes he has a few turnovers but he's not alone there.
Would have thought he was a good option for Charlie Cameron this weekend. I'm not a fan of too many changes in one week

That’s the spirit. Plow only loses half of the contests he’s involved in, so there’s a whole other half that he doesn’t lose.

This business of having Nafan.

It could be worse. We could have Eleni.

Or the double. Both.

It looks like this game may be a sell out. There are only single tickets left.

A different Vossy in todays presser. A touch more prickly perhaps?

Ive been hanging out to see the Presser to see at what point Vossy got prickly.

No evidence to be seen at all, so not sure what you're talking about using the word "prickly".

Voss was jovial, engaging, honest, and the only controversial moment which was all light hearted when a journo on his left (our right) said "last week you [Vossy] said it will be hard for Silvagni to get back into the side". Voss laughed and said "I didnt say that, you said that!" with a smile on his voice, then the journo said" yeah, I've got to wear that".

That was it. Nothing prickly.

All focussed on process and bringing their contested mindset to the game...even laughed when asked about Weiters comment about bringing their mouthguards.

I'm expecting a tougher effort from Blues, and dont think Lions is a tagging team. They focus on their own game, a bit like us....I just want Lachie tagged this week and the defenders play closer than they have been....and to hit them @#$%&! hard.

Newnes as the 7th Defender over Kemp (McGovern and Marchbank are plenty of cover for a 3rd tall Lions forward)

Dow as an inside mid (Allows OBrien to wax the wing with Cerra and Cerra going into the midfield)

Martin as the HHF for his tackling and goal sense, also releases OBrien to a wing in rotations

De Koning because I like 2 genuine rucks.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner. Obviously no one can be expected to pick the Pittonet outage.

Common sense omitted, expectations managed.

What happened to Fog? Named in initial squad last night but looks to have been replaced by Hayes as an emergency.
Setters very very lucky. Hope he plays like his career is on the line cos it just about is.

And how can you be "managed" and listed as an emergency? If we cop a couple of pre game injuries are you no longer "managed"?
Anyway prefer a running type as sub so Hayes as sub for me.

Yeah, I tried on Monday and had the issue of only getting single tickets. Will be a great crowd. Lots of Blues fans up this way
