Good luck Lynch loves playing against us since his Gold Coast days. I would love if he wasnt playing thats for sure.

Prestia is the key IMHO. When he plays against us (thankfully injury has occasionally spared us) he carves our mids up. Spreads well from the stoppage and we just let him go.
I'd like to see George put some time into him. The rest can go head to head.

We no longer have Sam Rowe escorting him to the ball.

If Voss wants to stretch their defence by playing TDK as a forward they’ve got to pick the quickest possible smalls or we’ll get torched going the other way

Or Liam Jones to just stand back, watch him lead into open space and take an uncontested chest mark.

An in form and confident Weiters will take lynch to the cleaners.

Annoying there's no update on Motlop. Maybe they just don't want to give anything away to Richmond.

Or maybe there's nothing wrong with him and he's playing

Or maybe his arm fell off and they’re waiting on a medical assessment.

I'm more worried about winning the clearances and contested footy first and foremost.
Their midfield has a lot more depth than ours.

I like this one.
If its in our forward line, then Lynch can't possibly touch it.
Its a big win to us in that case.

Pitto an Emergency so it's selection and balance rather than injury - interesting

O'Brien or Honey the sub I reckon

Cotchin, Martin, Prestia, Taranto, Hopper, Short, Graham and Bolton.
McIntosh, Pickett and Ross on the wings (Possibly Hopper from memory of him at GWS).
vs
Cripps, Hewett, Kennedy, Cerra, Doc?? and Fisher??
Acres, LOB and Hollands on the wings.

They most likely will not play all of the above, but it's hard to argue against the depth of talent, run and speed they have access to in the middle.

Last year Rd 14 they cleaned us up in clearances 41 to 27 (13 to 9 centre, 28 to 18 stoppage) and their inside 50s were 76 to 51.
As well as Prestia cleaning us up with his inside work, Short had 989 meters gained and he is listed as available to play at the moment (fingers crossed he's not ready).
We were only missing Cerra that game, but they were missing Martin.
They now have Taranto and Hopper to add to that mix.
The only key player we were missing outside of mids was Pitto and he could make the difference in the centre ball ups as in RD 1.

Apart from Lynch, and to a lesser extent Riewoldt, they have a very short forward line that we can exploit. Same can be said for their back line - they are also a bit undersized.

Play well and stick to our structures and we can win this relatively comfortably. Blues by 22 points.

I would love to ask Vossy....

Why Lewis Young over Sam Durdin. What is Sam lacking, that sees Lewis getting a game ahead of him?
