Egon Zendler always makes me think of that bloke from Ghostbusters.

In my opinion, the only way Teague survives is if he comes clean to the CEO etc, and also the players, and he admits that his game plan didn't work. That he has a new game plan that is based initially on defence, but which will have a strong and successful attacking element once the defensive side of things works first. He almost needs to beg to be allowed to start over with a new approach. He said yesterday that they are constantly tweaking the game plan. That sounds a lot to me like he is incrementally changing the game plan. Why not just come out and say you went too attacking David? You might earn back the respect and trust of all around you and in turn get the players to 100% buy into a new, more defensive game style. Right now it is looking like the players are doubting the game plan they've been asked to employ.

It was startling the ease with which the Eagles scored their first few goals.
There was zero resistance.
This is a classic case of rubbish game plan followed by players tuning out.

Teague said at the beginning of the year he was about building relationships with the players, sorry David, you’ve lost them. Time to sign the divorce papers and move on .

If Harry doesn't lead, what do you want him to do? Run a few laps of the oval. Good forwards just want a one on one contest. With the 6.6.6, that's the best time to get it.

Yep!

Forget the history people. Yes we’ve had 6 coaches in 20 years but we CURRENTLY have a coach who ain’t any good.

If our situation were likened to being in an ER hospital (which it currently is) then the thing to do is to cut the coach.

As a member I pay the club to make the hard decisions.

The time to act is NOW.

We are in damage control. I’m sick of thee weekly groundhog day episodes.

We have the Bye this week, the club needs to make personal positional changes now.

Make Dale Amos caretaker coach and hunt out Lyon or Roos

Interesting given the players' love for Teague began due to his simple gameplan compared to Bolton.

Now it's too complicated.

Who's really in charge here?

Lack of clarity doesn’t necessarily mean complicated, it just means the messaging is not clear

Seriously - the Age believe, the Age sources said....

There is no chance internal meetings wold be leaked by Sayers the article is a smack in the face to Sayers professionalism.

Carlton bashing is justified but surely you can tell what is rubbish and what isn't. Damn right a review is required but the sugar coated syntax from this article is a little too much.

Teague as a player had very little success and very little success as senior coach and a assistant coach before been appointed as coach of Carlton just another stuff up by our club appointing him surely you would have appointed a coach who has had success as a AFL coach especially with the young group of players that we have
Our last 2 head coaches have selected there assistant coaches with none of them having success as a assistant in the AFL and how barker keeps he’s job

Yes the Pooper Scooper invariably wrong or makes things up

Remember put your house on Kreuzer being at Collingwood one of my personal favourites

Got his break at 3AW with Seb Costello through their fathers who were obviously connected

I suspect if both were named Fred Smith neither wouldn’t have got gig

Ironically his cohort at Xavier chortle at the Pooper being taken seriously as a journalist

Like Robbo in drug saga where he got used to be the mouthpiece for Essendon* the pooper sometimes plays the same role with Carlton so this might be half right but guarantee there will be some mayonnaise on it

Has that been drilled into our forward structure - is that the plan?

It’s hard to tell.
