Worried about Durdin for round 1
We are much better with him in.
I would have thought practice matches would help fitness (McGovern and Martin) or is the training sufficiently realistic that they are not required to get match fit these days.
Poor Caleb. Minor calf strain. I wonder what the odds would be of Martin marchbank cunners and mcg all playing in the same game….

Reckon the Swans over achieved last year . Reckon they will be a slider this year . Time for our footy Club to step up . Only a practise match , but i would like to think we will go full bore tonight just to see if we can cut it with a good side . In reality we are just nobody's trying to be somebody's . So come on boys , lets shake that tag and it starts tonight .

Hey Des, I didn't realise a good mate of mine and coach at the The Swans Academy had Des English as his mentor growing up.

My mate was a good footballer, but after his dad was hurt in a car accident, at the age of 17, he went a bit off the rails. That's when family friend Des English took him under his wing and got him to play at Aberfeldie and win 2 flags where he got back on track to be the man he is today.

Des English and his wife, amazing community minded people.

Heard Cuningham told mt nephew the other night at Hall of Fame that his injury wasn't as bad as thought but wont know till next week what the rehab will require.
