No news on Wilson

Prognosis a couple weeks back, before the cats game was that Wilson was developing a 'hot' spot.

IIRC it was only a sore spot, and nipped at the bud.

Rest till it settles.

He obviously improved his endurance running over the preseason, and his already quick pace seemed to have improved too, and he was standing out at training and intra club games. Looked good vs Lions too. He was bashing the door down till this.

Good luck to him, and I expect he will earn a few AFL games this year.

Not looking too bad including Wilson. The only question is players like Evans will be short of a match & might need a run in the 2s.

With Newman’s suspension served, we might have a full list available (aside from our two LTIs) for round 3. Admittedly not all will be AFL-ready, but having the majority playing at some level isn’t something that’s happened too often in recent years. If we can string a couple of weeks together with no (or very few) new injuries, it will do wonders for our squad.

Well, you've completely jinxed it now.

You’re right abns.

We haven’t had such a healthy list since 2012.
It does help not hinder.

I don’t think we have executed the new game plan for 4 quarters yet, maybe because the 12 new players havent gelled, the injuries have hurt us, Vossys plan is still too taxing, skills not quite right…etc but I expect that to improve for the next game.

Haynes Derksen will play more VFL minutes this weekend, Saad may get a run too. Then Newman Cerra Cottrell to bring more class and pressure on spots, the following week. That pressure is on everyone in the senior team now, not later. It will make a huge difference on the track this weekend and next week, and I expect our VFL team to further improve too. Domino effect.

Bring on the Dees at the G.
