Didn’t see the first half due to kids sports. Watched the second.

Was a must win so rapted with the result. Look forward to watching the replay.

Yes left a bit of percentage out there. But we have a few banged up and underdone players and a 5 day break next week. So not too fussed on reflection.

Zac up fwd was a great idea and nice to see that aspect of his game.

2nd qtr was pants.

Charlie has his usual third qtr blitz, thought Harry was a little quiet but then he spent most of the game with his opponent hanging off his arm.

W and onto next week.

7 and 4 after round 11.
Under normal circumstances you would take that .
Last year we were 14th with 4 wins and draw.

Should have buried Sun's today but I fear we have to many dumb players.
Loved Williams up forward.
I thought Elijah had his best game actually looked ok in the middle
Fogarty was good in the first half.
McKay had an unbelievable 3rd quarter then gave up a 50.
Ollie best game for the club.
Gov was brilliant 1st half
Walsh and Cripps murdered their midfielders
I thought our defence held up well and Saad made a huge difference

Take the win and head to our football grave yard

Pretty good summary Sydney but I disagree on Elijah.

He attended 16 centre bounces, had 3 contested possessions for the game and 1 clearance (no centre bounce clearance).

Should stay at HF/wing.

TDK previous high was 19 disposals; 25 today.

Sole ruck forever :smoking:

So 6 disposals changes everything ??? TDK was best on ground by a mile today. His best ever game. Is Big Harry a better ruckman than Pttto ? NO - Not even close. When Piitto is fit and healthy he will come back and we will have two very good ruckmen sharing the load without having to rob us of a dominant forward. If you want to burn out an emerging ruck superstar keep playing TDK beyond his limits.

wild.

2 rucks/ 3 key forwards doesn't work. too slow, no run, no pressure no rebound. it's one ruck for the duration. rest tdk for a week here and there and manage his health and play pitto as the sole ruck. but never two at once.

Can't argue with any of those, but would like to say how impressed I was with the often maligned Kemp. I thought that he was terrific today and the selectors just nee to leave this talented kid alone and reap the rewards. Sure he makes the occasional clanger, but who doesn't ?

Let's not fret over the 3 junk time goals. We were 11 points up with a minute left in 3Q, a 29 point win is a great result.

Agreed.

I also still think the tag is in vogue. Its almost like no one wants to admit it. Curbing Rowell really helped when mac andrew was going ballistic

Good thing we only gave up 3, then.

We won a must-win by 5 goals. Cheer up!

4. 3. It doesn't matter. When we go into "game management" mode we inevitably invite pressure and give up goals. We had the foot on throat and let it go. We have a shit percentage, which effectively puts us a game behind those around us.

If you think it doesn't matter, just remember this exact crap cost us a finals spot 2 years ago. Maybe it costs us top 4 this year.

Our link-up game and tackling were stand-outs for me.

Acres, Newman, Saad all good.

I think a few players really need to work on kicking with their non-preferred.
