Had a look at the 'name a game' website. Much of the games are only on VHS! Anyone know where I could find DVDs? Preferrably somewhere that would benefit the club.

You probably will not have any luck, but the only other place that I know of is:

http://www.aflfilms.com.au/

The other option is to convert the VHS to a DVD if you get it.

No luck there either. Bugger. Might have to dust off the old video player.

Thanks for your help.

Round 7 1999.

A wet old night against the Tigers at the MCG.

A typical in and under performance by the DOG.

He kicks a freakish goal under pressure on the boundary about 35 out.

Blues home by 20...

A great game.

94 against Richmond at Princes Park, I think he kicked 7 goals from memory.

Correct Game. That was a game that sprung to mind for me.

Yeah we demolished them that day in front of a lockout crowd. Most fans left convinced we were going to be the premiers, little did we know it was going to be our last win for the year.

True. Was a bit of a false dawn for us. Mind you, the deep disappointment of '94 was integral in the dominance of '95.

Remember that particular match against the Tigers. Was a silver membership holder back then and knew the gate manager at 2a well so, on the odd occasion it was a packed house, i could usually sneak in. On this day i arrived to find all gates closed, including 2a, thought i was stuffed! Fortunately though, i managed to sneak in through the social club to witness Dogga tear em apart. :-D

I only have a hazy memory of this one. Nevertheless I purchased the DVD and eagerly await it's arrival from across the Nullabor.

Seems to be plenty of games from '99 on 'name a game' in DVD format but not much from before then.
