A navicular stress reaction will put Matt Cottrell out for the next month. Blues to reassess after round 14. Even the expression navicular sends a shiver down the spine....Even if they have caught it early

Is that a re-injury for Cotters? Didn't he have that over the preseason?

Andrew Russell can get in the bin. Honestly. Twice in 2 years Cerra redoes a hammy on return. Motlop does a hammy in training. We surely have more games missed from soft tissue injuries than any other club. Absolutely sick to death of it.

This is one of those moments where I’m bloody glad we have Brian Cook at the club. Whatever is going wrong I’m confident his leadership will see it resolved

Ahh the old surprise midweek injury strikes again.

How does Cunningham even have any soft tissue left to strain.

On the plus side, looks like Saad, Fogarty and Motlop could be available next week?

so, while all of the media are busy jerking themselves off over collingwood and richmond's imjury list, we get sweet fa mentioned about our injuries.... of all our injured, only 3 wouldnt be a first 22 start, while both of those other teams would be missing 8-9 first 22 players tops....

i dont know whether to be frustrated at the lack of recognition of our injuries, or happy that the media hates us so much

I just done a random search on Carltons injury list over the last 3 years you are flat out finding a week in the season where there are not 8 to 10 players listed.

We are in a unique position where we have talent on the list that is capable of winning a flag if the injuries continue and depth and develop is stalled has much as it has been over the last 3 years this opportunity will sail right past us into the sunset.
Every grand final team over the last 5 to 10 years have had healthy lists.

I think their are over 150 players injured across the AFL
Just under 9 per team
The way the game is played there is so much stress on the legs
But you keep injury prone players they will get injured
Cuningham
Anyway Binns for Cottrell
There should be some scientific research on footwear given the nature of the running game on a grass surface

Injuries and Andrew Russell's rehab mismanagement are legitimately costing us a tilt at a flag.

Carlton strength and conditioning - doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

As Grro says - sack him now.
