voss might not be the right man, but he has shown more capability than bolton or teague. i agree, plan b is terrible, but at the same time, we have half our starting line up in the stands, or playing under done. surely though, he needs to play binns soon though - this reeks of stubbornness

the players just drop their bundles too easily, and no coach can fix that. we are front runners

This team is not an AFL side right now. We're simply down too many players, and key players. Even the ones that come back (cerra, McGov etc) look well short of a gallop.

Plus Sydney are unbeatable up there.

my last one was rubbish

Stoppage coach and Hamill need to sort out our defensive 50 stoppages. We're getting scored against too often, too easily. Not protecting the corridor or goal side of the stoppages sufficiently. When we play Geelong, I'm over Hawkins wrestling our rucks in defensive 50. He's Weiterings man. Weitering has the power in his legs to not get pushed off and should take the responsibility to neutralise the contest.

Voss is steets ahead of what Malthouse brought to Carlton, Bolton who knows?, wasnt really around long enough to say, Teague, nice guy but didn’t inspire the players the way Vossy has. Still think if we’d beaten Lions like we were supposed to we’d have taken Pies to the wire, if not won the flag. Teague et al never got within shooting range of a flag.

agree tactically we’ve lacked flexibility and dare. i said before the Gold coast game i hope Voss and the coaches don’t just ask a few of the opposition, but ask a few questions of themselves. Williams to forward pocket/flank has been exactly the kind of innovation and revelation i’ve wanted to see, and do these moves mid game too if required. we’re not easy to play against but very predictable structurally for opposition coaching team to work out.

we’re still growing, on field and off-field. having more players available and young guns coming on quickly certainly helps us move the magnets around. our VFL team are cellar dwellers this year mainly bc very few AFL listed players available to them. we need less injury and more depth so only in-form players get selected each week.
