No, I did not notice you sitting just above the Viney tap.

Went last night and spent most of the final quarter feeling frustrated and angry.
Happy with the 4 points but pissed off with how we almost blew it.
I was not confident all week we would win so will take it.
Glad I took my poncho.

Did anyone get a load of Theo Doropoulous after the game who is now apparently a footy pundit.

Was pretty staunch that Curnow's great pick up and snap in the third quarter was touched by May, despite having no conclusive evidence, he thought because of May's immediate reaction that it should have some weight on the review.

Great idea. I can't imagine a bloke like Steven May ever trying to gain an unfair advantage.

Looking forward to what Dominic Thornley or whichever random state cricketer they roll out next thinks.

Angle or no angle. The Melbourne blokes' arse is over the line and the ball is even further back than that.

CARLTON'S Nic Newman has escaped suspension for his late bump on Melbourne's Alex Neal-Bullen during Thursday night's one-point win at the MCG.

Ultimately a good result last night but far out we make things tough for ourselves. The first 3 and a bit quarters were excellent. Strong defensively and took our chances up front. The last 15 minutes we went into our shells too early and were lucky to escape with the four points.
Cripps, Walsh, Weitering, Owies and Cincotta all good.
Shame about Cerra as he looked good until he got hurt. You’d have to imagine he’ll be missing a few weeks to a month given he keeps injuring himself.
We desperately needed that win to stay in touch with the upper echelon of the ladder. Melbourne are no slouches.
Still not sure we’re playing well enough to do much damage late in the year but ultimately we don’t need to be at this stage. Need to keep banking wins and hope to accelerate into the softer draw that is the last two months of the fixture.

I just realised, as I sit here watching the replay, we only kicked one goal in the last quarter and 11 minutes of the game... funnily enough the exact moment Cerra went off the ground. Ugh

That cant be right, Hewatt kicked the first of the last quarter.

I assure you it is. Charlie kicked a goal from Cerra's last action to put us to 11.4-70 with 11 minutes on the clock for the third quarter. From that point on we had Hewett's goal and a rushed behind in 51 minutes of football which comprised of 31 minutes of game time. We finished the game on 12.5-77. We just stopped

He threw his head back, which probably saved Newman.
