Yes but if we can't beat Richmond because we're missing Judd and Fev that is Hughes' fault.

Richmond have lost Richardson and as we all know never got the benefit of poaching Judd.

But nevertheless we should still be able to beat them without Judd, Fev and Murph.

If we can't it highlights what critics of Hughes have been saying (before they get banned), that he simply hasn't done the job with his later picks.


If we can't beat Richmond because we're missing Judd and Fev, then personally I would be asking more questions of Ratten and the coaching crew.

That depends on how quickly murph + Waite etc come up, and how quickly guys like Warnock, Brock and Henderson gel with the team....

The second half of the year gives us a much kinder draw than our first half IMO.

I will admit that we will be weakened at the beginning of the season, but so will be Essendon* (lost Lloyd, Lovett and McPhee) and the Tigers were terrible last year and are rebuilding. A 2-1 start is what im expecting ..................

Remember the Tigers did push us in the second game we played them. Post played well. Vickery was hard to match up. Only won by 20 points whilst Fevola kicked 9.

We should beat them, but I wouldn't mark it off as a definite win just yet.

Well it looks as if that old Carlton swagger never made its way back.

It can go either way for us but i'm hoping we stand up to the challenge and once and for all prove to the football world that we are back.

We will learn a lot about our club in 2010.
