hey, barnesy, on the collingwood site, they say they have secured victoria park !!

also occurs to me we need a novel rule to maintain the integrity of this event - that loaned players can come only from the opposing team in any game...

what say you ??

regards,

rollo

Firstly I should be more active shortly - just distracted mate.

Secondly Vic Park is a treat - !! Well done to them

Thirdly - I am all for the integrity of the games - we need all makes and models as such playing and enjoying. Loan players if needed should only come from the opposing team.

Barnesy

G'day fellas.. Cam's mate Jonesy here.

I'm no good.. I broke my leg pretty badly in round 3 of the Ammos and I'm still recovering. Jogged my first lap in 6 months last night.
Not 100% sure I'll be around, but I'll know closer to the date. I'm not going to be playing at all next season, was thinking of giving umpiring a crack, so if you need an umpire, I'd be more than happy to put my hand up. But yeah, I'll have to let you know next week.

when I die and go to hell, my punishment for eternity will be to organise forum footy games…

my counterparts on the other forums are busy people (barnsey, this means you), so we have trouble communicating…

subject to negotiations this weekend…

(we dees will automatically agree to any changes proposed by the other sites), here is the program for next Sunday. November 8…

Venue : Victoria Park (99% guaranteed)…

(back-up venues in place just in case)…

Format :

Each game 2 x 20minute halves…

12.00pm… everyone arrives/warm-ups/kick to kick

12.30pm… blues v pies…

1.20pm… dees v saints…

2.10pm… losers play…

3pm… winners play…

4pm… bbq/social/drinking time…

Regards,

rollo

I'm still keen to play, but I have another commitment in the city at 4pm so if we win I won't be able to play the last game.

If thats still cool let me know and I'd love to line up in the forward line somewhere

that is fine, look I am still a slim chance of not playing - but will still have things organised and notify the appropriate people

an exam next week and other commitments leaves me short of time.

keep you all posted

In the event that Barnesy can't get there, I can step in as the TC person/organiser?

I was a chance not to play, but I should be able to make 12:30 at Vic Park.

Somewhere in a pocket/flank at either end will do fine for me given that 2/3 possies I usually play are taken.

Looking forward to crushing all teams before us!
