Where's Synbad the sailor with his harsh appraisal of JR now? Or his constant bagging of Ratts for showing faith in him? Are you going to come out and tell us how wrong you were Synbad?

Can we please leave personal attacks out of this thread?

This is about celebrating and congratulating our boys on a much improved season

Fair enough, some posters will have had to eat their words regarding JR, but no need to blatantly post a personal attack just because you have a gripe with Synbad from another thread. It is getting extremely tiresome

:thanks:

So what players who played a game did not manage a vote?

I can think of Walker, Jacobs, Yarran and Hartlett.

Any more?

Bluey89, I've updated the final tally list with these players, as well as Austin and Bannister

She looks great! That's a gorgeous dress - love the colour!

Think Gibbsy's girl is more of a natural beauty though

Great to see Ellard get a clubman award. I hope this means that he is going to be around for at least one more year. Congrats to him and for his continued efforts and improvements as the year went on. Looking forward to seeing him in navy blue in 2010.

Mate if i that's your idea of a personal attack you need to get out more often. And don't try and second guess what I'm doing/thinking. It gets rather tiresome.

Now I repeat synbad, are you going to come out and admit you were wrong? Really really really wrong?

Sorry, who's second guessing?? How do you know how often or not I get out? :screwy:

It's as close to a personal attack as is allowed on this board without mods editing it.

And I don't think I was second guessing you one bit - it's pretty obvious that you're taunting Synbad to admit he was wrong.

It doesn't matter who was wrong. Stacks were.

6th is MASSIVE. Russell would've woken up this morning on top of the world. It will mean he has a huge pre-season and will smash it up again next year and by grand final time in 2010 he'll be on the verge of 100 games!!

I honestly think he will make a move into the midfield at times this year. Has all the assets, super quick, very hard runner, super skillful (on both sides) and a strong aggressive tackler. Or he could become our own version of Damien Hardwicke on a HBF but much quicker and much more skillful. Look out 2010 cause here comes JR!!

Hellas for your information a swallow does not a summer make...
Russell has alot of footy to overcome before hes made it..

.. and secondly Hellas... i was the one who was saying Ratts should play him as an attacking half back flanker.. cos there is only so much Russell can keep developing as a Ratts style lock down player...

So im abit ahead of Ratts .......again...

But yep yep... you keep making things up.....

Well i said that teams will stop attacking St kilda's zone and will start leaving their own players behind the ball and saints will find it a lot harder score therefore turning games into low scoring dogfights. I said in which case the saints will become even more reliant on Rewaldt.

Well done to Russ. Anyone can see he has the tools and all he needs is more and more game time. Sure some take longer than other players but this bloke will peak at the right time.
