If it is a small misdemeanour then we could live with one week suspension
But it is a major one - getting on the piss till early hours of Sunday morning when you are a professional footballer
at this time of the year and missing the rehab session completely!!!! They should be suspended for the rest of the year

Being out on the grog isn't an offence as such. Missing the rehab without a valid reason is and that is why they were suspended. The Club has said why they were suspended and that is the facts of the matter.

Well the facts have mostly been covered now.

Time to move on.

Maybe I am a little romantic and live in the past, but people will always mess up.

I strongly believe that different penalties should have been applied, but the leadership group is right behind the decision as are the Directors.

Leadership need to remember that not all our players are well educated, some just have rare talents and brains that are wired to play football.

I agree. No finals action for any of them...tough punishment but the price you pay for being paid big dollars. This is a professional sport not amateur hour. Not concerned so much about Cloke as we probably needed a reason to weed him out of the side, but Betts is the big disappointment...very poor role model for Garlett.

Very disappointing.

I hope all three fronted the whole team and individually fessed up to what they did, apologised for letting the team and club down, and the lessons they learnt from the experience.
