its disappointing that some regular posters on TC still haven't come online to share the joy. i guess its no fun when you cant bag the gameplan or JR.

i'm a happy camper. its bloody great to barrack for carlton!!

im a happy camper too.

and didnt have the urge to vent.

but... all of a sudden our side wasnt too young... it wasnt too inexperienced.... ratts had the cattle...

but they were allowed to attack and move the ball swiftly to fevola....

we didnt !@#$%& around with the footy... we didnt have too many players playing a purely lockdown role... and we rolled the dice on a few occasions...

so we did what some of us believe suits how we should play...

i had a great weekend!!!....

Now the trick is to not go back to being overly defensive and overly cautious ...

just goes to show its not the list...but how we utilise the list...

Most of us that support Rattan were not happy with the way we were playing either. We just dont go the coaches throat the first sign of things not going the way we wanted.

I am sure we will have more down weeks as the team is young and inexperienced and Ratts doesnt have the cattle at this stage to produce efforts like friday night on a consistant basis.

I reckon we have the cattle...and Ratts may be evolving (I pray this is true)....the way we were setup on Friday night is not something we have seen much of this season..and I'm all for it.

It's all about expectations. From the outside it looks like the expectation that we had no chance gave Ratts the confidence to free the players and to let them off the leash. Hopefully he think we have no chance against Port this weekend too.

Finally got to watch the replay after being at the game. I was amazed at how well we responded when Geelong challenged in the second quarter and also later in the game. What I didn't catch on the night, and absolutely shocked me was Gary Ablett Jr making cow eyes at the umpire at every stoppage silently imploring for a free kick. I wanted to slap him and tell him to HTFU. What happened to him. He was unstoppable put now just plays like a big puss.

We have the cattle. You just have to look at our list.

We're covering Waite and Jammo aren't we?
And we've been nursing Walker and Warnock all year.

No doubt about our cattle.

We've won 5 of the last 6 games.
Ratts is at his best when he backs the team to dare and take them on. Raw energy to burn, thanks to Cordy & Co.

WE have to play with intensity for the next 7 weeks. That's all. That's a lot of footy ahead for a young team and I don't think Ratts can add a year or two to their current stage of their maturity, but eaxh player can with the help of Cordy ^ Co.

Let the kids attack
