Blue vain, i only bet against Carlton when they have us as ridiculous favourites... odds such as 1.40 for Carlton to win Vs Hawks, and same sort of odds Vs Essendon* when they bashed us first time and even worse second time round.
I didnt bet against the Blues last week... but will load up on Port this week

Seriously if the players come to the game on Sunday with the cocky attitude of some of the posters on here, we will get slapped. DO you guys not think that these guys will be fired up... especially at home they wont just lay down. Yes they were rubbish last week, but so were we in a couple of games this season ( Collingwood and Essendon* games )....we need to come out switched on or it could be over early.
If we play with intensity from the start we will win, but if we lob up all cocky, we will get turkey slapped

Thanks for that.
The players ALWAYS come here to determine their "cockiness" level.
You've saved the day.

BTW, hows you betting spree going? Backing against the Blues must be paying great dividends over the past 6 weeks?

+1

When many of us say we should win, its based on us having SAME level of intensity as opponent, because sure as hell we have them covered for talent. Refer ladder and %. Last 3 games, Blues 3 - Port 0, including AAMI last year.

Get that pushbike ready for Adelaide, Hollywood, heavens knows how you could afford a plane fare with your betting "efforts" this year...... :donk:

I just need to be nice and clear on this, I DONT EVER CHEER FOR CARLTON TO LOSE, EVER!
At least this way if we lose i get something out of it, more than happy to lose the dough as long as we win.

It's a bit of reverse pyschology for hollywood43 because when he bets against Carlton, we seem to win more often than not.

Keep up the good work hollywood.

Normally playing interstate you can quieten the crowd by kicking the first few goals. With Port, you can demoralise the team by getting an early break. They are front-running show-ponies.

The Blues at 4+ dollars last week against Geelong was pretty good value. And Geelong to use your words were rediculous favourites.

At that time i thought we were playing at the Dome, for some reason i thought we played them at the dome. We are a 6 goal better team at the G, hence why i went for the Blues at the line and collected

..really..?.. ..but we've won more dome games than G games this year.. ..or rather, to be clearer, our win/loss ratio's at each venue are much more in favour of the dome..

..either way, makes no difference, AAMI doesn't scare us anymore.. ..won there last year vs port, and just lost last year vs crows, and really all those final 1/4 points killed us, it was our inaccuracy.. ..i reckon our team is better across every line, they're a joke.. ..we should smash them..

So The Chad's calling out Fevola... normally I'd be worried that Fev might be silly enough to get distracted from the job at hand but I think this might work the other way this time and will create a pumped up Fevola who is hungry for a bag of goals.
With Setant being an added genuine forward option this time around I see Fev being able to get some space on AAMI with less attention and doing a number on The Chads.

The thought of Fev taking one of his special grabs with his knee fully lodged into the back of Chad's head will be brilliant.

[Of course I don't mena harm on anyone]

Hopefully that melon-head knobshiner gets in fevs leading space and has his ribs shattered.

They'll be to worried about roughing us up to win the game.

Fev's knee v Chad's head....I fear for Fev's knee.

I hope AJ picks up Casissy, and smashes the prick.

Need to smash Kane Cornes too, and Tredgay, and any other Teal scumbag.

Just another team that's gotten so used to us being a poor unit they've actually come to believe it was all about their superiority.

News flash - we were shit; we're not any more.

Carlton to win by the rate of Chad's cranial expansion
