..has improved his defensive game, but is not a defender, and when we lacked any class kicking into our F50 i couldn't believe he wasn't moved further up the ground..

ok in patches last night. Ordinary in others
The fact he is closing in on his 200th for the club says how bad this club has been for 10 years
Houlihan would not get a game at a successful club

What took you so long? 5 hours and several minutes.

Couldnt be bothered any more
I did spend 60 extra bucks to get good seats drive up from Geelong fighting my way through peak hour traffic.
Funny how Houilhan is like so many of our players. Plays well when the team plays well.

Keogh he played as a 17 year old in a finals team and in his first two years as a 17 and 18 year old player established himself in the team which played finals - no superstar but a fine servant of the football club and too often maligned on here- its like people who used to unmercifully bag Lance Whitnall all the time - who played 200 games - all Australian won the best and fairest and captained the side - not a carlton champion but nonetheless a very fine servant and player - had his issues and later on in his career wasnt as productive but lets get a sense of perspective here - both deserve support for their achievements

What's he achieved?? ..other than accumulating games during the worst period in the clubs history???

So much talent ..so lttle consistency...and now it's nearly all over ..waste...

Budzy started his career as a player in a finals team -will probably finish in a team that plays finals and will be probably a 200 game player - suggests under any objective benchmark he has been more than a fair player - not sure what benchmark you are using

maybe but not a bad performance from pick up at no 72 in the draft and budzy all the houlihans had talent to play AFL but he was the only one that really dedicated himself to play - Im not sure he hasnt maximized his talent

He's nowhere near maximised his potential frank. That's why I've always been shitty with him.

For a #72 he could've been a massive recruiting coup but I reckon he went along with the rotten culture that set in during this decade.

...could've been...

Poorly effort against the Pies.

Why play our best Kick in the back pocket?

1st 10 minutes and Davis gave him a bath.

Weak tackling effort on boundry was the problem.

Needs to play wing or half forward.

Leave the tagging to Browne, Armfield, Carazzo or Joseph.

Caulfield I think he only went on Davis in the second quarter after Davis had held sway against joseph in the first
