I am very interested to know whether he will play in the seniors this year?

Ratts has mentioned a couple of times that he would start in the 2's around the same time as AW, but has he been doing any running at training etc?.

Ratts also mentioned that he is around the 100 - 103kg mark now, can anyone confirm?

I would love to see him play at least from round 20, with a couple of games leading into finals.

Given his lack of a fitness base, is it unrealistic to hope he can have a positive impact in 2009, even if that is to free up Kruze to play some time up forward?

Lily, barring any mishaps this week, 206 is on track to play for the Ants this week with 1AW.

Should play about 3 weeks there and then form and fitness permitting, come into the senior team.

Craig Bradley said on a radio interview that he isn't sure Warnock will play senior footy this year with the blues. They want him playing football but not to sure if it will be with the blues

I see no need to rush him back in. He's had no preseason, his conditioning would just not be up to the standard we'll need. So let him have a run around with the Bullants to prove to himself the he is over the worse and getting him right for a cracking preseason.

he'll play bullants NEXT week i heard. He's severely lacking fitness obviously having had no pre-season. Wheras 1AW has reportedly smashed judd's visy park time trial and is as fit as anyone at the club and could play on the ball at the moment.

Conflicting reports.

Have read recently Blues expect him to play VFL with 1AW, but then today it is reported he is injured for 1-2 weeks.

So go figure.

That's impressive. The Bullants are certainly going to get some quality blokes back running into the finals...

Haha. . . i'll never forget his winner against fremantle at TD last year. Absolute howler of a goal in the pocket. . . dont like his chances at a spot on the list next year though.

I suspect Walker would only need one week in the 2s? Would love to see him back against the Pies

Gsker, give him a go.He was playing some good footy before getting injured and the actual incident where he did the shoulder was one of the more courageous acts you would ever see.

Yeah, I'd be minded to give Pfeiffer another year on the rookie list. I haven't heard much about how his rehab has gone, or how he conducts himself around the club, but we're crying out for a tough inside midfielder to free up Judd & co. The jury remains well and truly out on Bentley, and it looks like AB and Hadley are as good as gone. It remains to be seen where Browne will play his best footy.

Pfeiffer's skills can be inconsistent and he isn't blessed with great leg speed, but I still reckon there could be a role for him at our club...

I can see Tex replacing Brad Fisher in the next few weeks provided that Fisher does not perform well.

Andrew Walker will be able to rotate from a third tall, HFF or even as a on baller.

As a forward, he will be able to provide better 2nd, 3rd and 4th efforts and ensure that the ball is kept inside our forward line.
