Sounds like our poor disposal skill are really showing in these windy conditions.

Sloppy game so far.

No great skills on display from either team outside of Judd.

Tigers seem to be giving Carrots a bit of room.

I think we should push him up to half forward where his less penetrating kick will hurt us less.

TripleM calling the game ORDINARY.

Tigers are in this game, we will need to lift or we are a big chance to lose.

Tiges were ok against Adelaide who are a top 5 side. With our line up today, this was always gonna be a close one.

Yep.

Both teams are very hard at it both ways, and it's very windy (Richmond with the 2 goal wind in the 1st); so the poor skills by both teams is understandable.

The effort is there. That's the encouraging thing!

Quarter Time:

Blues 3 3 21
Tigers 3 4 22

- Fev too pre-occupied with himself it seems.
- Fev the target with most entries forward.
- Players butchering the ball by foot.
- Simmo getting flogged by JAKE KING.
- Hammer back on the ground.
- Deledio has taken the pts against Gibbs in the first quarter.

Sounds like we're trying to secure possession of the ball (and by that I mean they reach out and try and pluck the ball instead of knocking it on when they have two blokes on them) and execute the game plan we always play.

Except it's wet, windy and clean ball use is just not going to happen. You know how to play wet weather footy Ratts, tell them to change their approach or you may as well go home and watch it on TV too.
