Pros
- We won
- GIBBS!
- Carlos
- Good team pressure

Cons
- We started like crap, inexcusable
- Not consistent enough with our pressure
- Too many turnovers
- Goalkicking, seriously, do we even care about how crap our accuracy is
- Hayden Ballantyne, will replace Milne as the biggest cauliflower in the game

A win's a win! :smoking:

PROS:
- Gibbs was brilliant, particularly in the last quarter when the game was on the line
- Setanta great up forward with 4.3 and could be a great short term fix for our CHF issues.
- Judd sublime again, one of our best
- Russell played well early on. Still hearts in mouth when he disposes the ball, but he gets in good positions and is hard at it.
- Carrots shows he can kick goals when the match is in the balance from outside 50
- Good win interstate against our bogey team.

CONS
- Another poor start, trailed by 34 early on in the second quarter.
- Bentley struggled.
- Fisher not up to it. Absolutely terrible disposal.
- Innacuracy at goal, we were shocking. Missing set shots from inside 50, kicking out on the full, not making the distance. Really need to work on this. Kicking 14.19 in perfect conditions is a disgrace.

Pros
JR getting us back into it
Judd spending 8 minutes on the bench in the third and tearing them apart in the last
Ratts switching things around
The Zone finally worked
Next week we will be sixth and the bombers nineth
that big irish lug finally come good

Cons
We gave them to big a start
we give away to many 50 metre penalties
We cant kick bloody straight

Pros:
We won
Gibbs
Judd
Setanta
Hopefully a few blokes in the Bullants who learned some lessons after being dropped from the seniors this week

Cons:
That first quarter... I was ready to burn TC to the ground at that stage. How does that ill-discipline step in? It felt like a Pagan coached game at that stage (dare I say it)
Bentley. I always remember Athorn and Powell - they seemed like lovely guys, but at the end of it all they just weren't up to the big stage. Bentley has played two more games for Carlton than me, but I just don't see what he brings to the side

Pros:
- 4 pts
- Gibbsy has finally found some confidence
- Juddy - Brilliant
- Setanta - great athlete

Cons:
- Ratten being the worst coach in the league (and I include the interim coaches)
- That was meant to be an easy game
- BENTELY!!! WHAT THE HELL!!??!?!?!?

Pros:
[*]A win on the road against one of our bogey sides
[*]We worked our way into it
[*]Carlos, Gibbs, Juddy & Simmo
[*]Good to win when our backs are against the wall

Cons:
[*]It was only Freo; we were lucky to rein them in after a very poor start
[*]50m penalties; WTF! Such indiscipline is not only costly, its inexcusable!
[*]Yep, our kicking for goal has been a blight (pardon the pun!) all year!

PRO: JR bashers don't have any ammunition tonight

CON: They are gutless and won't give a player the credit he deserves.

Pros: JR, Gibbs, Carlos - very happy they played so well - and of course Judd for saving the game - 3 brownlow votes.

Cons: We seem to start a few games really poorly..... and we cant put it on the scoreboard when we dominate.

Of our last 4 wins, the Brisbane game was fantastic, but the COllingwood, WC, and tonight's game have just left me scratching my head.

I can't believe some are falling into a trap of self-congratulation after that pathetic performance against some young hacks minus Pavlich.

Without Chris Judd we'd be a joke.

PROS

1. Gibbs - had the confidence to kick long goals - brilliant

2. Setanta contributed well, he is a bit mad though

3. Chris Judd chose Carlton and has saved us from embarrassment about 5 times this year

4. Carrazzo kicked well

5. Grigg started coming into it after a terrible start - we need Grigga to play well

CONS

1. If somebody can tell me why Bentley and Chris Johnson should ever play for Carlton again, I'll be impressed. They're both hacks and that goal from Johnson does not really change my estimation of his value as a footballer.

2. I am a big fan of Houla, I reckon we need anyone that can kick goals, but if he keeps falling over without even trying to keep his feet he can go away. I am also a big fan of FEV but he's starting to make a mockery of himself - every contest is like a ballet exhibition with the graceful falling over and holding of previously injured body parts.

3. Brad Fisher is the worst player in the league when the ball hits the ground. If it doesn;t stick in his fingers we have 17 players on the ground. Shouldn;t be getting a game

4. The WAY we play is atrocious. Our brand of football is shocking - we dominated the second half and didn;t put it on the board because we still love to bomb long to nobody in particular

5. Armfield just cannot kick to save his life. He's admirable, but how long can we put up with his kicking

And the kickouts are a still disgrace - how was the 8 point play in the 2nd quarter - I didn;t know whether to laugh or cry.

We are treading water as a football club.
But I bet Sticks will be patting Ratts om the back the whole way home......whatever.

You'd have to ask the Bullants watchers how Bentley's form has been over the last month, if its been good then I don't mind them rewarding good form.

He at least puts his head over the ball. Was shown up in the third quarter when another player wouldn't, Bentley put his body on the line and tied the ball up.

Con: Goalkicking.

Simply. Not. Good. Enough.

Pro: JR
We won ugly. We were slaughtered in the first quarter, but actually fought out the match. I'm proud that they did that and didn't retreat into their shells and simply try to avoid a blowout.

I haven't seen the game yet (I will watch it tomorrow on Bigpond) but I saw the highlights.

A big   to the WA Blue supporters, the cheering was loud and proud and the song at the end, well what can you say :smoking:

I'm waiting for someone to say JR still hasn't played a decent game in Navy Blue

5 minutes out of 100..... Should never wear the navy "yellow or white" blue again IMO....

Pros
Can't wait for Gibbs to mature a bit. 2011 watch out, back him for the Brownlow now. His 2nd and last qrts will be week in week out, they will be saying stop Gibbs stop Carlton and don't worry about stopping Murphy or Judd... Can't wait...

Cons
Whole team, nothing to be excited about watching a team overun a 15th team on the ladder with 1 of the games best player out.
Letting teams get off to a flyer before pulling the finger out and playing catch up football.

Pros:

- Gibbs was BOG. He smashes Freo in that second quarter and continued on througout the game.
- Judd had some great efforts 'defensively'. Haven't seen those efforts from Juddy for a while, maybe he received a rocket from the coach this week?
- JR was his briliant best and worst early, ended up being the spark to get us into the game again. 17 possies in a half
- Aussie was brilliant defensively in the last quarter, his first quarter was something to cop a caning over. He shouldn't be dropped again the kid's 1 percenters are A grade.
- Houlihan saved himself with a great effort on Tip Rat II.
- Courage to fight back in the last quarter and run away with the win.
- Carrots was good.

Cons:

- That new little tip rat on the block. AJ should be ashamed being moved off him.
- Discipline was ordinary in the first quarter.
- Effort was ordinary in the first quarter.
- Fisher, yes he took a couple of good marks, but seriously could he get in Fev's way anymore? could he fall to the ground anymore? could he kick further than 40m anymore?
- Can someone tell me how Bentley got a game ahead of Ellard?
- Can someone tell me why we still can't kick straight?
