Time to bring in Browne and get Robinson back into the team - we need to work out whether they're up to it. Cloke needs to be replaced by someone, and Fisher is about our only option there...be it unwarranted as it might be.

I can't wait for SB to come on and tell us it was all just because of inaccuracy. Gee, if we kicked 10.3 in the 2nd half instead of 3.10, we would have won

We were IMPOTENT inside forward 50. We probably had as many I50s as them, but when it came in there was absolutely no feeling that we would convert. And that wasn't helped by our slug-like build ups. If there were bonus points for backwards handballs to a guy under pressure, we'd win hands down.

It'll be interesting to see who the bottom 6 were this week. Just a tip SB - you can't put Santy in there this week. But you might want to consider the human glacier - Cloke - who was very lucky to avoid the chop last week.

Now,,,,,,,

Whats the chances of getting TinMan to take the whole Carlton Team to follow
him and Dorothy along the yellow brick Road to see the wizard of Oz and maybe ask him
to give the whole team a bit of heart !!!!!!!

Face it gents...we arent good enough and many of our success starved fans have been clutching at straws after round 2 with false hope.

Hopefully the club realises that we arent good enough and that we take advantage of the last uncompromised draft.

Yep...time to TANK!!!

Totally and utterly disgraceful.

Murphy, Gibbs and Judd can be excluded. But the rest were rubbish. Why do will still persist with hacks like Cloke, Wiggins and Russel.

No heart from the blues... A gutless effort from the majority.

Plenty more ups and downs coming through the season. There will be highs and there will be lows.

Clearly we played rubbish tonight. If eddie is missing snaps and easy marks you know things are not right and our ball handling was poor in close.

Moving the game to qld has nothing to do with it. We have to be better than that. To suggest it was the reason we lost is equally as mentally weak as the mentally week players that played for us this week.

Disappointed with our goal kicking today. Murphy's second shot, Russ at the end (even though i thought he had a good night), cloke not making the distance and Simpson on the run.

We played crap and they played very good. Hill looks great.

And to all those people who supported selling our home game - now who looks smart??????

Nice to think that 4 points is worth $300,000.

We lost because we weren't good enough, but don't let that logic get in the way of your venting.

The positive is that there are 2 dominating teams and from 3 down to 14 it is very tight. So IF the team improves and can find some of the form and intensity of the first 2 rounds - then we are still in with a shot. Things can quickly go to shit, but they can also quickly turn around.

Just to amuse myself, I'll take on the role of so many who have scoffed at me and people like me this week.........Gee, I'm so proud of the boys, an interstate trip and we didn't get flogged, we're really developing, one step at a time, c'mon look at where we were last year, I'm so excited about the future, the kids are getting game time, a really close contest
la la la

As I said earlier today on a different thread
WE ARE A LONG WAY OFF IT AND THE MC ARE NOT HELPING OUR CAUSE

I know that we can't influence the result, but some of you out there are living in flowering dream land
I had a feeling about this game, decided not to say anything on this site for fear of being labelled a grim reaper. What I did do is put $20 on Freo at $4. At least I've got my petrol money for the week

You forgot about the positive in the form of Kreuzer's game - sure he may have been flogged in the hitouts (he was up against the beanpole)but the kid never gave up. It is sad to see him as the first Carlton player to the fall of the ball after his own hitouts, speaks volumes of our desire for the contest tonight.

We just didn't want it like they did tonight.....
