Well actually I have always had a good feeling about Carlton and another premiership.
This year may well bring the unexpected 'shock and awe' flag that I have spoken of since 2001.
We have a 3 year window that starts in 09.
Indeed, many of the things I have previously mentioned on this forum are actually in place right now in 2009.
The main one that isnt is a war. But I also said that this would occur very unexpectedly and quickly - so theres plenty of time, maybe even this year - for that too happen..
I think that the reason that many people that like to critisize me do so because they are scared of the prospect of a big war, which of course is understandable, especially if you are one of the people that have to go to fight it.
I am personally, very well advanced in my planning for this outcome though, which does a lot to calm fears....There are simple and relatively inexpensive things that can be done to give security and safety...
An important premiership year indicator is a general economic one.
I have previously stated that Carlton wins a flag during a war and also at a time of a depression. So, I would suggest that a look at the papers would show that this indicator too is well on track....
The midfield form of Byce Gibbs is also a pointer to premiership glory.
I noted with interest his 27 possessions last night...I also noted that it was Bryce that stated that Carlton can do in 2009 what Hawthorn did in 2008....
It is common for a person to subconsciously see the future, but not be fully aware of this, except that they might say things that give a clue to their inner state. I have always felt that Bryce is a very switched on person in many ways...
A further thing to look for is a very even season, with percentage being more important to a teams fortunes than in past years.
A big logjam of teams will all be fiercly competing for the last 4 spots in the final 8, even into the final 4 or even 3 of the home and away matches - maybe only 1st, 2nd, 15th and 16th will be set apart from the rest.
Taking nothing away from Carltons ability and skill, but in that season, luck also plays a crucial role.
