Looked like Carlos kicked him either in the bum or the groin. Either way, you never hit a teammate when they're down, or at all. Bye.

Nah, I reckon it was a ring-stinger. Wouldn't have hit the family jewels, even as huge as Cam's are.

I tell you what KK you lay on the ground like that and get someone to kick you like that and tell me how you feel -

Move on kids, the club will make the right decision and life will continue. There is way to much good going on at our beloved club, to get too bogged down in this stuff. It was shit, yes, could not agree more, but lets not waste too much time on it. Season 2009 is on our doorstep, we are now in the home straight, the slate is clear, the potential is limitless, lets focus on the positive and have a little smile as the thought of what may be, slowly turns into a reality.

Happy Friday (under the circumstances) to you all.
Go Blues!

Well Clokey doesn't need Rudd to stimulate his package whilst he has Carlos around

Lots of panties getting very bunched about something which would cop no more than a week at the tribunal, if that.

upon viewing the footage it looks to me like cloke pulled the back on setanta's hair and only then does sentanta react.

If sentanta gets the sack over this incident them its an absolute disgrace.

Some of you guys are so precious & quick to burn the guy....get the full story before you start casting a judgement.

Normally I would say you are smoking something shocking...but with the inconsistency of the Tribunal these days, I wouldn't be surprised.

I have a feeling he may survive afterall, but surely he'll cop at least 6 weeks from the AFL?

Well, here it is

Its bad but its not that bad! I was expecting a full-on soccer hooligan kick but its more a tap to send home the message. I'm not sure what action should be taken at this stage. Sacking might be excessive

No no no...that is not good. I don't see how you can say it's not that bad. It's to your own team mate. It's bad enough if it was against an opposition player. But to your own team mate??? Poor form Setanta, no matter what the reason was.

I'm really undecided about the incident. Dont get me wrong its bad, but perhaps not "pack your bags and send him home immediately" bad, if you know what I mean.

Regardless, its a long way back for Carlos now! :yikes:

Agree that it would be beneficial to hear the full story. But going by what you are saying, getting your hair pulled justifies a couple of punches to the face and a kick up the arse. Geez...I would hate to get into a fight with chicks then.

The kick maybe, but he'd go close to equalling Barry Hall's suspension for the king hit. And given that, I dare they throw in a couple of weeks extra for the kick too.

Not a good day for the club. :|

I was referring to the kick.

I reckon there were probably mitigating circumstances and provocation before the hit.

Agreed. Although I still think you're high KK

Another thing that shits me about this is that in the background from the footage, 'Malaysia' can clearly be seen. Just the sort of publicity they need.

And, IMO, it wasn't a king-hit.

Did Setanta really kick Cloke in the bung hole?
That's actually pretty funny.
