Verbs is right - the kick is the plane ticket home and exit from the club.

Nope. Got a link?

I think Don meant Foxsports on Foxtel (on tv). I went to the Foxsports website and there are no video footages as yet.

Good to see that Carlton is starting to get some aggression back in their game. Now all we need to do is direct it: At the ball or any opposition that gets in the way to the ball.

Brett Rattern should just take him aside and say "Understand this: If you want to continue with that kind of behaviour you need to consider finding another club".

A Simple and serious warning. If he does not heed it then he should be removed.

Footage on the Herald Sun website

Not much contact in the kick up the arse, but a kick is still a kick. Like I said, no grey area here.

Sort it out, sanction him and keep him.

Well, here it is

Its bad but its not that bad! I was expecting a full-on soccer hooligan kick but its more a tap to send home the message. I'm not sure what action should be taken at this stage. Sacking might be excessive

Just saw the footage.

It was nothing. Wouldn't have even hurt Cloke. Even if it did score a direct hit to the rusty sheriff's badge.

The hit was worse than the kick.

He'll be back.

Wouldn't be surprised if he goes home at the end of the year, though.

Ratts told Carlos to "go out and kick Clokes arse".
Surely it's a failure to communicate?

I would've recommended Ratten doing what he did. Coutts fronting and reading a prep wouldn't have helped anything. the media would be after someone worth quoting and it aint the Couttster.

Nah, I reckon it was a ring-stinger. Wouldn't have hit the family jewels, even as huge as Cam's are.

No no no...that is not good. I don't see how you can say it's not that bad. It's to your own team mate. It's bad enough if it was against an opposition player. But to your own team mate??? Poor form Setanta, no matter what the reason was.

I can't see the footage at work, so for those that have seen the incident:

When Setanta kicked Cloke, did his kicking action look as awkward as when he kicks the footy?

So that's the kick you are all getting so worked up about.........WTF ?!?!?!?!

Look I hate the fact teamates had a go at each other as much as the next person, but to hang, draw and quater a player for a "dog act kick" (that was soft and not in his ribs as has been reported by an "eye witness") is a bit over the top.

Yes he needs to pay for his indiscretion;
Yes he needs to apologise to Cameron and his family;
Yes he needs to apologise to the team and coaching staff;
Yes he needs to apologise to the supporters who have been there through thick and thin;

But.....this can be turned around.

THIS IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD.

If you are in doubt look at the footage a few times....think about it a bit and....move on.

I tell you what KK you lay on the ground like that and get someone to kick you like that and tell me how you feel -
