Melvey who is it that you support.
I am relatively new to this site and believed it to be for people who SUPPORT the Carlton Football Club.
From what I've read of your posts I am yet to be convinced of any sort of regard Carlton from you.
The idea from the marketing people i think is great. This is not a message that the match commitee and leadership group came up with. It is simply to excite supporters into buying a membership.
That's exactly what it's done for me and most of the others on this thread.
I cant help but think you post things to have people like me reply to your rubbish. Join the red and black scum please.
If you think that i 'post things to have people like me reply to your rubbish' then why reply back.....????
Im no band wagon supporter like you. To get noticed you've jumped onboard and thrown in a cheap remark my way
This club needs to repay us supporters for all the loyal support and especially for the hardship we all endured over the 7 years. What better way to do that than by winning it's 17th premiership
then giving us the right to brag and stick it up everyone when it achieved.
Like the scum mentioned on we only finished a spot above them and they had a debilitated list. God help us if we don't make he 8 in 2009
What i write are truly my thoughts. If you don't like skip past my post and move onrepay????
bizarre
Bloody oath they do.
We, the payed up members didn't partake in any decision to cheat the system and pay players under the table, nor did we decide to build a 14 million dollar grand stand when we were advised not to, poor management and planning which played a part in getting us knee deep in shit. If it weren't for 1 individual we'd be around ankle high in shit right now
I wonder how many of you on here were the 7 or so thousand that did not financially support the club nor sit through some of the most painful and gut wrenching performances through those bleak years???
So don't give me this 'where does my loyalty lie' bullshit cause i bet some of you reading this are guilty for jumping right off when the going got tough
ummm you see this is the point
the club has existed for a long, long time. The past 7 years is a fart, its smells, it hung around for a while, but the winds of change have blown it away and things are returning to normal.
oh and I do not think the club owes me anything
in fact
I've seen 8 flags
I'd say regardless of what happens, I've done rather well out of the deal
and
I owe the club nothing
its not a relationship
its just a damn footy club I barrack for.
You do owe the club something.
