SB our membership brochure speaks to the entire competition, the Scum speaks to only one team in the comp, us.

If they are happy to hang their hat on 2 wins in 08 against us for their membership drive in 09, who are we to mock them.

Hate to admit it but those little duffle coated Bomber brats caught us off guard and pulled our pants down with that clever reply to our membership drive...need to beat them this season and send them to the bottom of the ladder and let them go through a cycle of dark years like we had to endure.....

The Collingwood membership drive theme is vomit.......too many sensitive new age types infiltrating the pie ranks perhaps......"together we are bogans" is more applicable

Have no idea how much it costs but that poster is so awesome that it would look great on big billboards on every major arterial road heading out of and into the city.

Especially on the Monash freeway and the entrance to Hoddle St. from the Eastern freeway, you know you'd have a captive audience during peak hour :roll:

I'm a bit tired of all the bagging of Essendon*, the club has been a very nice retirement home for many a Carlton player that is past their used-by date.

They never beat us when it counts, so it is all water off a duck's back.

We, the payed up members didn't partake in any decision to cheat the system and pay players under the table, nor did we decide to build a 14 million dollar grand stand when we were advised not to, poor management and planning which played a part in getting us knee deep in shit. I wonder how many of you on here were the 7 or so thousand that did not financially support the club nor sit through some of the most painful and gut wrenching performances through those bleak years???

the club has existed for a long, long time. The past 7 years is a fart, its smells, it hung around for a while, but the winds of change have blown it away and things are returning to normal.

oh and I do not think the club owes me anything

in fact

I've seen 8 flags

I'd say regardless of what happens, I've done rather well out of the deal

and

I owe the club nothing

its not a relationship

its just a damn footy club I barrack for.
