@ The Dome.

We'll have to be careful to cover Roughhead and Williams and not be too buddy concious.

Will our dominant tagger JR get the gig on Hodge?

Army to Hank perhaps?

Fev to bag 9 and Gibba to destroy Mitchell

Now that we are out of the finals, surely no-one wants a win this week!!!

We have had a great season winning 10 games...now its time to secure pick 6.

Nothing to see here folks. Based on the season's WLWLWLW pattern it's a a loss week this week.

there is sfa difference between pick 4 and pick 10 in this yrs draft.. you'd only want to tank for priority pick..

i will be v suprised if we win anyway but definitely not impossible...as the dawks will have their foot off the accelerator as they will try to avoid injuries at all costs going into the finals..

it will be a very close game imo/

go you blues.

You'd think Jamison, Betts, Hadley and Browne would all come under consideration however not sure who will be omitted.

Bentick will probably make way whilst you'd think Carazzo could be in trouble.

They chocked against Richmond. We are a big chance they will be thinking finals might be off there game sightly.

Must stop Franklin ad Hodge. They pumped us by 100 points last time and Hodgy killed us, time to finish off the year on a high.

GAVROMAN, we can win and still remain where we are on the ladder.

We need to win against this mob, but if we have our weekly 2nd/3rd quarter lapse we will be smashed out of the contest and the Hawks won't let us back in.

It is high time we put them to the sword.

We are still an outside chance of final eight and must ensure we put the result on the board.

They have players in trouble with points and the tribunal and will not want to be engaging in to much physicality.

Lets give it to them.

In the stats in today's Age it lists as Injured:

Browne (Rested)
Jamieson (Flu)
replaced in selected side

Now why would you think that? Carrazzo's had a huge second half of the season. Last night he was forced to negate a lot more but still had 20 touches with a high efficiency (12% higher than Stevens).

I heard Jamo's having a shoulder operation.

I hope we go on with a few things we learnt last night.

Hard to see many changes this week, although I would like to see us try some new guys it won't happen.

Assuming Jamo is injured, Hadley, Austin, Betts & Browne are probably the only real options.

For me I would go:

In: Hadley, Austin, Browne

Out: Bentick, Thornton (and they would be unlucky, Thornton was good late but awful in 1st 3 qtrs) Armfield (have a full run in 2's for finals)

I would go with the mobile defence we had in the last qtr, Hampson & Kruezer to drop back and assist.

Bower on Franklin, he is mobile yet big enough. Thornton/Austin on Roughead. Anderson on Williams. Browne on Rioli.

I would put Russell on Hodge and Carrazzo can run with Mitchell.

Options up fwd in Fev, Cloke, Waite (good on ground and air, let him run loose), Houlihan. LOTS of goals & options!

My Line up:

B: Joe Anderson, Paul Bower, Steven Browne
HB: Shaun Grigg, Mark Austin, Heath Scotland
C: Andrew Walker, Nick Stevens, Kade Simpson
HF: Marc Murphy, Cameron Cloke, Jordan Russell
F: Jarrad Waite, Brendan Fevola, Ryan Houlihan
Foll: Shaun Hampson, Andrew Carrazzo, Chris Judd
Int: Bryce Gibbs, Matthew Kreuzer, Richard Hadley, Brad Fisher
Emg: Bret Thornton, Adam Bentick, Eddie Betts

So far its not, but there are hardly any tickets left. All Level 1 & 2 are Sold out. Level 3 has only seats right at the back.

I think they will make it a ticketed game

It would be fantastic to go into Spring and Summer knowing we won our last game. It would be even sweeter if it was against a grand final side OR the premiership side.

If that was to occur, during pre-season the boys would be firing and bouncing off walls so to speak.

Nothing to lose for the boys this week. They just need to get out there and see to it that they have absolutely nothing left when that final siren goes. Enter the pre-season on a high. And if they can tenderise the hawks in readiness for the finals, all the better.

Saints running away with a win which officially makes this game our last.
