Thanks :-D

It gets a little annoying coming on here and reading some of the things people seem to want to make up about our players.

Read the game day thread, Fev's value went up and down more than the stock market.

He's tough to work out Fev, he saps your faith in him, then makes you love him even more, and often, all in the space of a single quarter.

Could see Ratts giving him a good spray at half-time today. I don't think the reversal in the second half was any coincidence. Good coaching.

Surely it shows that you should evaluate a players performance after the game has been completed. I'm guilty in the past of criticising players at HT but it is evident time and time again players can turn their game around and can change the match in Carlton's favour.

However, if you look simply at the figures, you'd see 6.5 for the match and think "wow, what a star, give him whatever he wants", yet his indiscipline cost us big time at the start of the match and helped give the Dogs momentum which they didn't really deserve.

You wouldn't just look at the figures though. He had a poorish first half although it was mainly just one indescretion. I'm not saying he had a four qtr performance but we should be waiting until the game is over before we can say 'he had a poor first half but turned it around.'

Usually in the space of 5 minutes.

....and so he @#$%&! well should. He's got the chance to be on the end of the best midfield ever assembled. Judd, Gibbs, Murph, Stevo and Kreuzer .....and Fev spends most of his time sooking hands on hips because it isn't delivered lace out, or because the umpire misses a free kick.

Sign the contract of the CFC terms, or @#$%&! off!!

A psychiatrist deals with the criminal mind whereas a psychologist deals with the sane mind.
