Diamotism,
I am sure if you love Brown so much, that Brisbane would welcome your membership.
I cannot believe all your negativity towards Fev.
This is the guy who has made Carlton popular in our dismal years, do you think we would have had 30 thousand members over the last couple of years if it wasnt for him. I think not.
He is the only one I have enjoyed watching over the last 5-6 years.
Yes I barrack and support Carlton, not one player but he does form part of Carlton.
Your tirade is getting boring.....................
So are you one that cheers Fev when he kicks those magnificent goals or do you go PFFTT...............
Get real, we are not getting Brown, nor do I want him...... So then you not only want to trade Fev, but you want to give up another good player and picks.
We cannot keep on doing this year after year. We have the nucleous of a good team, and we need to build to it. Unfortunately for you, Fev is very important to this process and we must give him help in the forward line.
I support the BLUES not Fev. Fev has let my club down many times and simply I have had enough. When we were at the bottom of the ladder, he did his very best to bring the Carlton brand down to the gutter. I don't forget stuff like this. The fire hydrant?
The dry cleaners?
The headlock incident?
Peeing on a window?
Hugging St Kilda players after a loss?
Giving away 50 metre penalties?
Which one of those has dragged the brand down to the gutter exactly?
Granted some of that is childish behaviour, but to say it has dragged the Carlton brand down to the gutter is absurd.
The salary cap indiscretions, leaking boards, shocking Presidents, for example, Smorgon telling everyone we were broke on TFS, Marcus Rose saying we were the new Fitzroy..........that's what dragged our brand down. Not FEV peeing on some flower window.
Get a grip!
Excellent doof.
The fire hydrant? Fair enough. But it was almost ten years ago.
The dry cleaners? Houlihan
The headlock incident? Fevola was representing Australia at he time.
Peeing on a window? Silly, but hardly a hanging offence.
Hugging St Kilda players after a loss? So?
Giving away 50 metre penalties? So?
You need to read a blog called The Speccy DIAMOTISM if you want to inform yourself a little better on footballer's indiscretions off the field. Given Fevola has never been charged with any offence, at all, it's sanctimonious at best to whinge and bleat about his "long list of off-field indiscretions".
Fevola has almost singlehandedly given Carlton a profile during a period of woe. That's why the kids flock to him. His teammates love him. His coaches love him.
You may be sick of him. That's tough luck I'm afraid. Sucks hey?
