Agree he won't go into either drafts . I'm sure he would'nt want to play for Melbourne or Freo which could happen in that case . He.ll sign or we'll trade him .

Remember when you guys refused to deal with Hamill's contract until the end of the season?

That worked out well for you.

Yeah, Hammil was an injured crock for 90% of the time after he left. Worked out real well for Saints too :P :P :P

Hamill played in more finals for Carlton than he did for the Saints.

Fev going to Sydney just does not make sense. Thier behaviour code alone wil have him sitting on the sielines for more weeks than he would play. Given that Fev is a lead and mark player, the SCG is to crowded for him to work in.

Still who knows what will happen, guess we will see.

With the contract being delayed til the end of the year I can see a lot of other clubs jumping in and making enquiries - and offering cash to equal or better Carlton's offer, especially considering the amounts offered are being bandied around the media...

If Fev see's that his worth is being 'appreciated', he could very well end up putting the club to ransom. Suddenly we'll have to do a deal with a certain club who has trumped out offer by 200K extra a year - or he'll go to the PSD.

Again thinking out aloud, and hoping that Fev isn't like that and is loyal to the club.

And by loyal I mean he will either re-sign to finish his playing career with the Blues, or if he decides to leave he will only negotiate if an acceptable offer is given to the Blues.

If Fev does the right thing then - stay or go - Carlton wins... :-D

We got pick 4 and chose Livingstone who turned out to be useless, yet we still did the best out of the deal.

Hammil was supposed to be the white knight, and ended up being the Albatross.

Perhaps that's what we want.

:? Pick#2 in the PSD, paid market value for his services....can't see an issue with NS.

I'd agree with you if we'd traded a top 10 pick for him.
