You can only look silly so often.

The thing is most of the people in the know only THINK they are in the know. Things can change very quickly and coming out saying something that might have been accurate today, does not mean it is accurate tomorrow. This is why people on this website get it wrong a lot of the time.

I know which posters I can trust and it isn't the ones with posts greater than 200

Sorry if i've missed the sarcasm, the wink could have been the obvious pointer but just in case there was no sarcasm i think that's rather harsh.

There are a couple on here that come through the majority of the time, and they have way more than 200 posts. Its not their fault, especially in Fev's case, that we have a headcase thinking that its funny to f*ck the club around.

Maybe its because of posts such as above is the reason why they won't say anything else about the Fev matter but me, being cynical, finds it quite intriguing that those people are now saying nothing at all.

What would you want from the Saints for Fev?

Armitage and a pick?

Ignore this if he's resigned, I don't pretend to be that up on the status of Carlton players.

Throw in the Clarke brothers and he's yours. Actually, keep the Clarke brothers, the salty donuts will do just fine.

Carlton threat to Fevola talks Caroline Wilson
Quote:
So frustrated are the Blues by Fevola's sporadic recent form and his insistence upon an annual pay cheque of $750,000 until 2011 that it yesterday indicated to the player's management group that its preference was to put all negotiations on hold until the end of the season

You got a deal if it's your first round pick.

We can ontrade the Queensland born Armitage to the GC for two first rounders next year. :P

It's called value adding. 8)

But what if Caro's article is true? I reckon the club would be wise to stop all this until the end of the season and see what he can do in the meantime. We all know what the Fev is capable of but there is an old Mexican saying about the folly of paying up front that might well be applied to this situation.
Fev neds to show that he is in fact able to control himself before the club commits to such a huge contract. I am sure Fev means to play well every week. He is a Carlton man and his joy at winning is obvious but maybe he just can't help himself when it comes to dummy spits and getting the sulks. Maybe for him the joy of winning is the joy of winning and being the hero as well. On the other hand, maybe he also knows Fisher can't kick over a zac, Russell can't kick straight and so gets frustrated when he doesn't get the chance to convert the F50 entries. Who knows what goes through his head?
In any regard, I would applaud deferring his contract talks until after the season. In the meantime, sign up the Murphys and co to their true value and then we will be able to tell Fev how much is left in the cap for him, rather than doing it the other way around.
