Congratulations Jarrad - 100 proud games for your beloved Blues.

I want another one of those special Vinny Waite goals this weekend, and if Waitey playing his 100th isn't enough inspiration for the Blues to get across the line this weekend, I don't know what will be!

Well done Jarrad, those of us that saw Vin's entire career, share in the pride he would undoubtedly feel.

I agree. Vin was a great Carlton man. Tough and quick but I don't ever recall his kicking a goal! He might have kicked Peter Hudson occasionally though.
Jarrad has ten times the ability his dad had and I hope he gets his just rewards as his career goes on. He is a potentially great player who will blossom in the next couple of years as the team around him gets better. I just wish we knew where he was going to play out is career. CHB looked great to me at the start of the year but I am now leaning towards a running forward.
Well done on a great start to your career and may it be a long and fruitful one to come.

Absolutely great that he'll forever be recognised as a fixture of our club - his form is continually climbing and he's a true leader on field. (And I hope, off field).

Congratulations 100 games Jarrad, maybe another father-son potential coming up.
Vin's first two kicks in League footy were goals and kicked 33 in his 153 game career.
Watch the 1970 GF and Vin was one of the few better Carlton players in the first half.

I honestly believe this bloke will become a superstar of the comp in the next season or 2. His athleticism and ability to play anywhere is what the modern game is calling for!
I love his agressiveness too!
Is possibly our most important player with his ability to play either end of the ground when we need him to

Superstar?
He's not even a good consistent player yet.
He cant hold down a key back role and has failed to consistently fire up forward in previous seasons.
I congratulate Jarrad on 100 games but IMO he's a loooong way off being a superstar.

MW's favourite Carlton player (although she knows him as "That number 30").

Well done on 100 games.

What are you talking about? Refresh my memory.. Didn't he play in the Legends game. If he wasn't a consistent good player this year, would he have played in that game. This year he has done very well and im sure once our backline becomes solid, you will see how good he will become.

You're right. Michael Gallagher once played for Victoria too and he ended up a legend of the game didn't he.?
Hows that for memory refreshment?
I'm sure Pendlebury and Thomas were named too. How consistent are they?

Give me Jamo any day as a key defender over Waite.

Well done on a 100th SOV. Let's hope you bob up for another few goals this week.

I still like him as a permanent CHF, but given his athletic ability, no doubt he will be used more as a utility for the rest of his career.

Waites ability to chop us out at any end of the ground, run with the Richo types is what i rate highly. His ability to read the play and give us run off the backline.
Anyone can just follow their man and punch the ball away as a defender, but he is more than that, he is creative and gives us options.
Waite will be a superstar!
