Is that question rhetorical?

Good to hear that Fev and Gehrig are such good mates.

Pity Gehrig didn't play on Friday night.

Anyone have any footage on Fev high fiving the St Kilda players after we lost to them the first time around?

No?

Anyone?

Anyone?

Didn't think so.

Fevola, smiling after a game isn't the issue here. Couldn't care less when a player smiles post game, but you would assume that most players would be shattered/upset/despondent/morose/melancholy after losing a game that we HAD TO WIN.

But not Fev, cos he's different.

Some would say on Friday night that Fev was a touch thought-less.

AND KENNEDY WAS VERY MUCH A DIFFERENT SCENARIO - COMPLETELY.

So he WAS shattered in round 2 but not on Friday night? :? Your ranting makes absolutely no sense.

Well. How many things other than football ability are you going to be judging our players on? You seem to have a nack for it.

I cop so much shit at work because of my of my one eyed support for Fev. I loved him since the 99 New years Eve match. Still have a young 99 Fev post card from the club pinned up at work laminated.

Some one put yellow sticky notes to symbalise a jail over his face, as they reckon he is a thug.

Anyhow, his antics are frustrating at times, I must admit, only because I hate what he cops in the media, and from yourselves on this site. I somehow thought that when he matured and had kids he would change.

Thats parts of Fevs charm I suppose, we Carlton supporters should know him by now and see all the good he does with the kids and supporters, this is why I am staggered as to all your negativity about him. The media only see the bad, but dont see the behind the scenes good, but you all do.

When Fevola develops the mindset as a Full Forward of Tony Lockett.....he really will become a superstar......but.....he's running out of time......and I've got real doubts that he''ll ever be that dedicated.....or have the mental capability.

Supporters like you are a dying breed in this day and age. It's sad. Money has really changed our game and the way people follow it.

Fev will never really become a true champion of the sport.. he just doesnt have the mental strength and focus that is evident in all the truly great champions of any sport.

It's the small chink in his armour that he'll never be rid of. He's got all the talent in the world but he'll fall short of his true potential because of this (he'll still end up being a great player though once his career ends).

Do I think we should keep him?

Hell Yeah!

All premiership sides need matchwinners and he's the only one we have right now!.... along with Judd.

Mate Fev is not the only one who smiles after we lose. I have made this very comment about this ages ago. I really hate it, its disrespectful. How many think that Josh Kennedy should not have hugged the Carlton players after we beat them. Nobody Hey!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Fev more than Fevoltion and Synbad. Bookmark this !!!!!!!

I dont think so mate!!! biggest fan right here.

but all this crap about him huggin the players n shit like that, he does that nearly every game win lose of draw, this has been blowin out of all porportion he put his arm around milney for like 10 secs, big fukin deal, he did couple weeks ago to chris newman, he "hugged" rama wen we played the bombers, a lot of players hugged kennedy after the eagles game, anythin said then??? no, storm in a tea cup. It amazing how everyone all of the sudden gets into fev when he has 1 bad game, and get stuck into him like no tomorrow sayin get rid of him, but wen he comes out and kicks 8 or plays well everyone loves him and says who ever thinks this guy should be traded is a moron, best forward in the game, you cant have it both ways people.

All this contract talk is done by the media and all you guys have been sucked in aswell as ratts, when brendan is asked or the club or his manager is asked, they say they dont want to talk about it, it will get done soon, its the media that right somethin new and different every day because they are so obsessed with it and write articles based on rumours and here say. The first time fev actually said somethin was on triple m on the weekend. Ratts is sick of the media askin him about the contract and who can blame him, when the media are like a dog with a bone, never leavin the topic alone. How do we know what is going on in the negotations? contracts dont get done in one day they take some time, look at murph and waitey they still havent re-signed, whats the hold up there? whats the hold up with jono brown? who knows but everythin will be done and nothin is said. All this talk and rubbish said about fev by carlton supporters and people in the media is just funny seein people gettin sucked in by the media and by rumours. Maybe for once carlton supporters could actually back their players instead of attackin them every minute.

Yeh I reckon, it is all dictated by greed and money.

I am one of those supporters that If someone bags Carlton, which I cop all the time at work, I will defend them to the hilt. I crack it so much that people then dont come near me.

I wish footy was like the old days, where players loved the jumper and the team, and their mates. If only.

I think Fev is very much like your old fashioned Larrikan, so I hope he proves me right and signs his contract. I HOPE !!

Your a wee bit younger than me scott but I have never seen the adulation that was evident on Friday night.

That's the thing. I reckon I could have a fulltime job defending Carlton players on websites. I would need to be working almost 24 hours a day 7 days a week though.

The money originates in the media and we all get sucked in by the negativity it generates.

Footy used to be about having fun.
