I hope Dick was in the rooms or otherwise involved, during our win against Richmond. If anyone deserves to enjoy the spoils of victory, it's him.

Greg Swann was on MMM before the game and among many things, said that a) Pratt was at the game vs Richmond, and b) in many ways Dick is still pulling the strings around the club

Much to Graeme Samuel's chagrin.

The first step in what promises to be an interesting time for Mr Pratt.

One could easily assume that Mr Samuel is a dishonest and devious individual when glancing over his dealings with RPs interests firstly with CFC and Legends stand development debacle and now these current proceedings.

Richter is a magnificent advocate and is inclined to take cases on principle, not just in pursuit of a buck.

But surely the cab rank rule for barristers applies does it not?

Not sure if that principle applies anymore, but if it does, plenty have ducked cases in the past.

What dealings did Samuel have with the Legends Stand, budzy?

When this slime bag was Chairman of the Olympic Park Trust and Docklands Authority he made sure our original "Legends Stand" design was watered down so we never got the 45,000 capacity that was originally envisaged. He got the Melbourne City Council all stirred up as well as the local residents, ensuring the design was changed to lower the angle/raking of seats was changed.

This was to ensure that Dockland Stadium was built.

If we had of got the original plan developed we would have had a 45,000 seat stadium and the economics and viability of a 55,000 seat Dockland Stadium wouldn't have stood up.

I think at the time he was head of the Melbourne City Council when Jeff sacked all the councils. Thats how he stalled the PP redevlopment, knowing full well, the Docklands stadium was looming as the showpiece and anchor of the new precinct.

It's becoming clear that Samuel' is a person who'll follow his own agendas. Remember, this is the only bloke who backed Rudd's fuel watch programme after rejecting it pre election.

Surprise, surprise but this comes after Rudd/Swan have been elected and increased his ability to prosecute corporations......and when his contract at the ACCC is up for renewel.

Pratt will be back in the chair before September.
