Like you want the club to stick to its guns... but you have no clue what the contract is and what clause exactly Fev has to sign to...

Like i said.. just leave this alone and will it fix itself up... no need for people to get all knee jerky at this stage...

The clause should be the same as the public clause that is in place at the moment, keep of the piss which he has publicly declared he will do and if he flowers up his contract is terminated.

Ratts did not look happy.

Fev - Once a F-wit always a F-wit.

Trade him while we can. He still thinks he's the #1 player at the CFC  .

Please people. He was not happy with the media speculation as he is concentrating on this weeks game.

Honestly why do you support Carlton, when you continually bag everything Fev does.

Doesn't it matter that he was the only decent player we have had over the last 5-6 years. The only source of our footy watching enjoyment. The guy who made Carlton Cool again in the eyes of the public.

GET OFF HIS BACK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You make a good point Fevola - I support the CFC not an individual.

I am constantly amazed at how stupid Fev can be. If this is a media beat-up I'll eat my words and appologize unreservedly, but after his comments on TFS a few weeks back, nothing is beyond possibility.

I'm waiting for the "It's all Alex's fault" people to come out of the woodwork  .

yes, 'you people' should know better

I hope it's a media beat up because if it isn't he is being very unreasonable. He is in his late 20's, has two little kids and is worried about signing a behaviour clause?

I hope this isn't true.

Very coincidental that Fev has a fall-out with Connors at the same time that Judd comes in and takes over as #1 blue :? .

His long-time manager is given the heave-ho and he's demanding a 4 year multi-million $ deal. I wonder if PC said to Fev that that would be nearly impossible to achieve, and so he's decided to pee him off :? .

Just a thought.

I'm happy to take what the clubs administrators have said at face value ie mess up again and you are out. Just as I generally take what you state in your posts as face value (fev torn stomach muscles...)

I'd expect them to maintain that stance that he is/was on his last chance. I would have thought that to be pretty clear and maintaining such a stance is hardly a knee jerk reaction

Ok lets put it this way.... tell us EXACTLY why Fev hasnt signed...

EXACTLY.... tell us what the money is and what all the clauses are...

ok??

And then ill give you credit...

Youre going on Mike Sheahan or Caro aret you??

How do you know Fev isnt signing it because he needs a lawyer to go through it...

Hes not renting a house in Springvale or Noble Park you know....

The contract is abit more concentrated than those ones....

But anyway... please... display the contract here for all of us to se... seeing you know what it is.... and then outline what Fev doesnt like...

Start with the exact dosh. performance bonuses .. terms and conditions...

Ok?? :-D

Fev will sign and it will be 3 years. Just the nitty gritty to be sorted.

Will be interesting to watch how Fev plays over the next couple of weeks with the "circus" he has created. As if it wasn't before, the spotlight will now be well and truly on him regarding his performances. Interesting viewing.

Excellent.. anyway....ill tell you what i think.... i think that Blue Mark is right...

And the media got the rise out of people like you that the whole story was designed for...

Now listen to Fatprick and give him a rise too...

Why are some cracking it at Fev for? He has done nothing wrong here! All he's done is play football. It's a load of bull what the media are saying. Have you see the Caro article today about Fev not being happy about the behavioural clauses? Yet the only quote in that article was his management saying they'll start negotiations soon - which means everything the media have been saying has been bull. Fev wants to stay and Carlton want him to say, something will be worked out.

Ratts looked pissed? If your trying to talk about your upcoming game and all your getting asked is about Fev's contract of course your going to be angry.

Don't believe what the media say, it's all bull.

I don't want to THINK about Fatprick getting a rise, but I'm not going to worry about this.

FFS some people here must have never been in any kind of negotiation in their lives. Do the the expressions 'posturing' and 'ambit claims' mean nothing?

Give them some time and the deal will be done fairly to both parties.

If Swann and co can negotiate Judd getting here, I think they can handle this situation. Let's all get ready to celebrate getting Murph and Fish over the line with new deals - these early-mid year extensions are another sign of the front office outfit getting the job done for the club.

and where exactly in my posts have I said he should have signed up already?

By all means he should take as much time as possible (and imho should utilise an agent given that it would cost him under 10k/season its a small amount to pay for the peace of mind it would bring him). All I'm saying is that if he signs, I expect the last chance clauses to have been retained - if the clause ends up being the reason why we lose him to another club then so be it.
