Its said.

I love Peter Daicos for allowing his son to barrack for Carlton.

http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/sport/afl/story/0,26576,23680802-19742,00.html

Quote:
Former Collingwood champion Peter Daicos, a six-time Victorian representative, was seen lending support in the Dream Team rooms . . . and his five-year-old son Nicholas was spotted proudly wearing a Blues jumper.

"He knows all the Carlton players. Marc Murphy is his favourite," the Magpies marvel moaned.

It seemed no coincidence young Daicos shadowed Stephen Silvagni's three sons around the rooms.

SEN rang Daicos this morning and had a chat with his sn. He sang the song for them, confirmed he loves Murphy and said that dad never tried too make him follow the pies because "he also follws the blues".....

I love it, Daicos a closet Carlton supporter, like our Mandy..

I remember a big push to get Daicos at Carlton around the same time we got Marchesani from Fitzroy - in the early 80s - Daicos was seen going in out of of the club around that time.

Daics son was on SEN with Billy, Andy and Tim. They asked him who he barracks for and he said Carlton and Murph and Simpson his fav players. They then asked him who his dad barracks for and he said Carlton. Then he went on to sing the the blues song.

As a rule, I never liked Collingwood players......that is, until Peter Daicos came along. An absolute gun who turned it on habitually against the Blues. :(

We need Daics junior to become the mirror of his Dad, and then for him to refuse the Father-Son and wind up at Royal Parade.

That'd f@#$ 'em.

Daic's elder son and SOS's boy Jack play together at Greythorne way...both are standouts according to the junior coaches......

Bloody hell.... And we thought seeing Joffa in a Carlton jumper was humiliating for us.... One of the Filth's all time greats switching eligences to the 'enemy' is sure to cause some sort of uproar amongst the ferals...
