Maybe Swanny can don the jumper [the blue one would make him look slimmer] and plonk himself at CHF. :-D

DUC, he would have a crack if he was out there!!

QMFT

If nothing else, he'd be the highest paid CHF in the comp.

It's the 'Y' generation and uninformed sad sacks. They want instant gratification or they lose interest and get the knives out.

The critical supporters need to get down on the boundary line fence for an AFL game and actually see the effort that goes into playing the game. It's not quite as easy as it looks when you are sitting in the lounge watching the 50 inch plasma after 10 beers.

Regards Cazzesman

Respect your opinion Caz but I think people who were unhappy with our performance in first two rounds have a right to their opinion too and many of them were right with their opinion.

Firstly it is not just two weeks, but the first two weeks of the SEVENTH year of mediocrity. I know people have changed but at this point the results haven't and it is not unreasonable to have an expectation of something better after 7 years.

Also if highly paid professional footballers let their suppoters down with a lack of skill it is frustrating, if they let their supporters down with a lack of effort and intensity it is infuriating. To me that is what happened certainly in week one (against Richmond!!)and sometimes in week two.

You may have been happy with the players efforts Caz, and you are much closer to the club than me. I wasn't happy, and I am a reasonable supporter and have seen eight flags so I have less to complain about than young supporters who are lucky if they have seen one and are probably wondering what we have to be arrogant about.

If I was a young supporter (say 21) who started following the Blues seriously when I was 7 then we would have been diabolical for half my supporting life (and the time I was most aware). I'd be getting pretty annoyed. Any supporter under 30 probably has trouble remembering the 95 flag.

I accept we get beaten by better sides (not worse sides like Richmond) but I don't accept some of the efforts of the last few weeks. Houla's half hearted 'intercept' in front of Gherig, or a couple of the marking afforts agaisnt more desperate Tigers for instance.

It's a great point about intensity and desperation. After recovering from being down 71 to 4 against Hawthorn in the Nab cup, our tackling intensity was pretty good at times during the 2nd half of that game. I left the ground that night with a positve, despite how obviously outclassed we were (clutching at straws I know).

How many times in round 1 and 2 have we yelled "Baaaaallllllll"?

It appears that despite our pitiful efforts in tackling over the first two weeks, we still won't be playing our best tackler  .

Why isn't Bentick playing?

Y'know guys both WIGGINS and BANNO can't be dropped... one gets to stay.

Put em both through the Gladiators eliminator...
