I've had the shittest day in history today, it all started when i dropped my spaghetti container when i got out of the car, the air conditioner in the office brokedown, I was stopped at every train line in town, was stopped at a train line that didn't even have a train on it anymore, then was given an address to meet a client that never existed (lots not street number still), had client try to blame me for there own mistakes (i love auditing tools), then i started moving a wss site to a new server only to find out a bug exists in Sharepoint Designer so i had to do it manually all this before listening to SEN and all the dribble people can come up with all because someone pissed on a window. I'm going home had enough.

Oh and now my frigin key ring has broken and my keys are all over shop

Schwarz said he has a hunch that when the two clubs are created in NSW and QLD that Fevola will join one of them.

Well next time he pisses in the street they will have to bottle it and take it back to the lab for analysis - its its under .05 is it then alcohol related.

Same...not really happy with this bit. :?

Do you think it would be a legal dismissal CK? Surely it would have to be a mutual decision and be written in to his contract.

I guess they'll put a clause into his contract from here on?

I would have preferred the club to miss a week or 2 of Fev than have this hanging over our heads. Whether he flowers up again & we lose him for nothing or not, we've effectively dropped his trade value with this. If we want to trade then clubs are just going to tell us he's a liability to us anyway.

We will take Pick 1 which surely one of the clubs will be gifted by the AFL.

That could work out well. Might not be #1 but it'd be a good pick and probably easier to get than if we had to deal with a traditional club who only had one early pick.

Before we even contemplate it there would have to be a lengthy analysis of what constitutes an alcohol related incident. Rest assured old Fevva that there will be possies of Journos waiting at every bar to pour plonk down your throat. If a drunk bloke king hits a sober fevva outside the casino is that an alcohol related incident? I bet you I know what Hutchy and caro would say!!

My idea is that TC buys feva some groucho marx glasses and a moustache to wear anytime he goes near CCTV

David Schwarz is a joke. SEN are a disgrace, until they get some credible identities on that station it will never progress.

Maybe I can help write Patrick Smith's article for tomorrow for him.

let's see ...where do we begin.

oh, i know.

"Carlton and the "piss fixer" have brought the code into disrepute. This punishment for Fevola (insert Patrick's very witty word play here as he has a clever nickname -"The piss-fixer") is not nearly harsh enough.

The "Piss-fixer" has done wrong. The AFL must act now and suspend at least every Carlton player who has been in a pub in the last month. The suspension should be 23 years. Anything less and we are sending the wrong message to the Essendon* supporters out there.

Act now AFL or you are being inconsistent. The Piss fixer must pay.
The Piss fixer. The piss fixer, the piss fixer, the piss fixer.... sorry, but i promised at least ten references to the piss fixer in my article.

This is the kicker for me - I was not happy with the fine, but when I heard this, I was more content with the penalty. As well as out of the l'ship group - he's on really thin ice now!!!!

Line has been drawn in the sand - and as someone else has mentioned this could bite us on the bum.

Its up to Fevola now and no-one else.

Agro I believe it will bite us in the bum.

Don’t get me wrong he can easily be in the Top 10 players of the AFL I think he star BUT…
What it tells us is if he doesn't have any more alcohol-fuelled incidents then he'll be a Blue for life. Hard to replace 80 Ff's. Maybe you have someone in mind?????

talkback radio exists to give voice to people who, ordinarily, have no one that will listen to them.

FFS seriously we are all pole-vaulting mouse turds here. If this incident has highlighted to anybody that Fev is a drunken DH or has come as any great shock then I'd like to welcome you back the free world from your recent internment in Nth Korea!!!

Here's a little pearl of wisdom from old uncle 2nd, if you are planning on having Fev as a role model and werent deterred by the: fire extinguisher, international rules, Lara Bingle, undone bootlaces, 60 in a 40 zone, yelling at team-mates, running through opposition huddles, footy show or recent urination incidents then you might as well keep him as a role model because you're probably cut from the same cloth.

Folks, lets just accept Fev because this is what he is like. He aint going to change no matter if he is suspended or not. He'll toe the line for 5-6 weeks, tell all and sundry that he has rediscovered the important things in life and then bam he'll be back on the front page again. Nature of the beast. The club should have a minder following him around because as far as I can tell Fev cant keep control of Fev so how on earth is the leadership group going to do it.

In the meantime lets not let all of the so-called footy experts who oscillate between telling wild stories about their exploits in the beer sodden 80's and pontificating the moral high ground of today where players should supposedly spend their private life in gymns and monasteries tell us what to do.

Yeah its untidy, yeah he shouldnt have done it, yes he is an idiot and a DH, yes he needs to be punished to remind him of this, but lets not leave our most dangerous forward out of the team just to appease the general football community.

Fev's been suspended before and it worked for a while but we are back here now. S. Johnstone at Geelong is the great example often used but his soujourn in the magoos didnt stop him managing to drive at triple the speed limit in January this year. Let Fev play as this is the only path of redemption for the man. Leaving him out to appease the football mafia in the press makes no sense at all. Has anybody checked to see if it was Terry Wallace buying him beers????

I haven't read the whole of this thread, gave up at page 12, but I agree 100% with the above.

Just as well CCTV cameras weren't prevalent in the 80's.

If Fev has admitted he has got an alcohol problem then perhaps that's where his redemption begins.

Every man and his dog will know he is on his last strike and he will basically be unable to *ahem* take a piss without some one getting on the phone to the club.

So if he can't behave himself under these circumstances then it's probably just as well for the club to draw a line under his position and move on.

It may go the other way too, he always seems to sulks every time that things don’t go his way, I only hope he wont get reported because of his antics (if any) on Thursday Night. :(

What seems odd to me is that on one hand we are not suspending him but if he has anymore alcohol related incidents then he gets the sack.

Whilst I agree with the decision I would have thought someone would go from a suspension to getting the sack, not just getting a fine then the sack.
