Okay - during 1989/1990 - I said that no Carlton Side could win a game whilst Fraser Brown was in it. And that he would never make a player.

Although I dont have any statistcal evidence to back it up (more like I couldnt be bothered looking it up) I think there is a fair bit of corroborating evidence which would back my contention up.

That Deluca is such a handy late pick up, he will kick 40 goals next year and really add to our forward line. (after his first year)

"Delsiting Damien Hampson is a big mistake"

"O'hailpin has as muh chance of making it as I do" - Afer his second game against Hawthorn when he looked lost

Back in 85 - if that kid's name wasn't Silvagni he'd be lucky to get a game

"$100 says that Fevola will kick more goals than Gehrig for the season" After 2005 pre-season cup win.

"In Pagan we trust". Well, not necessarily mine but one I believed in ...

Telling my mate some time into the 2002 season that teams were still scared of playing of us. He, quite literally, fell over laughing

"Yeah nah, Lindsay Smith will be a goer in the ruck".

Great thread this. This post just made me think of another one - day of 99 preliminary final: "Our chances are about as much as Brack's...."

Melbourne Storm played in the NRL Grand Final on the Sunday as well.

I remember being in the carpark at the MCG before our game and thinking we don't have much chance, either do the Storm tomorrow, but at least Kennett will still be Premier.

"Koutafides will be as good as he was before" - after his first and second knee reconstructions... oh the blind faith!

"Smorgan will be the man to put us back on the straight and narrow, Collo was a puppet" - hilarious thought that one jsut after SMorgon was made president.

"o0o0 Laurence Anguin, how did the Crows let this bloke go, hes gna be a superstar" - after his goal against the West Coke Eagles.

"Livingston is the next Silvangi" - when cursing Pagan thinking Livo should play ahead of Mick Martyn (Even though he wasnt the next SOS, still should of played ahead of Micky).

My one correct prediciton was that from the beginning I knew Pagan would take us to no where... I remember thinking of his appointment "this man does not belong at CFC, we play champagne and caviar football, he plays mcdonalds football"

"Jon McCormick will play a role in our midfield for plenty of years"
"I want to draft Hansen"
"Trant Sporn has more talent in his little toe than half of our list"... mind, that was probably true in 2002
