Actually our good friends 'timmyd' and 'PatFitztrick' have also been extremely busy. Shortly every year since 1970 will have been done.

Did the Gardiner Stand open in 1909 or 1912? Can dannyboy or someone else who was there on the day please confirm. :P

First section was opened in 1909, the whole thing was completed and opened in 1912.

Not too many years to go now. I think that list should be about right. I'll complete 1917-19 in the next day or so...

30 odd years to go - great work by Camelboy, timmyd, PatzFitztrick plus the 2 Blueseum losers in J and me.

C'mon other losers, lend a hand or be barred from changing history!

Sorry Bob, left you out of my little support group in my mild rant. You were the first to put up your hand, thanks muchly.

But in the end you're a loser either way!

Now that I have your attention.

The Blueseum will be not be offering open public registration for new contributors any longer very soon.

There are several reasons for this including:
- integration with the club, a site closed off from the possibility of the general public vandalising it will be more likely to be attractive to the club
- security, given recent hacks on the site this will also act to strengthen security which becomes a bigger issue the larger the site becomes.
- amenity, for security reasons simple software such as javascript cannot currently be implemented on the site. On a closed site new software can be used which will make the site more attractive and more usable.

For Current Registered Users
- You will be contacted soon with regards to the ending of public registration (through the Blueseum private message facility).
- For the time being nothing will change, we will of course encourage all registered users to keep adding to the site. However in the interests of security some inactive registrations will have to be terminated. No terminations will be made however before full discussions with each registrant.

For Prospective Registered Users
- Anyone wishing to become a registered contributor to the Blueseum after the changes have taken place will need to be vetted manually. All registrations will be done via the Blueseum email address to confirm bonafides as trusted Carlton contributors.
- So in essence all that has changed is the method of the registration project. Any keen Carlton fan willing to contribute can still become involved. :-D

It is hoped these changes will lead to the Blueseum being bigger and better than ever.

Thanks, any questions? Fire away.
