You don't make billions by being honest ...

The Vodafone HQ are apparently filthy with their GM for the way things unfolded, as the Roos are inferior to both St Kilda and Carlton in terms of what they offer sponsors.

You must not compare the Roos to the Blues/Saints but rather the Roos versus the Saints.

Vodafone took the Roos sponsorship over the Saints.

And that says a lot about how 'good' the Saints are that Voda ended up with the Roos instead.

Vodafone were also apparantley filthy that Luke Ball had a deal with Telstra which StKilda failed to disclose at the time of signing the sponsorship. Now who is dishonest?

Says a lot about our old administration, who were like a revolving door with sponsors and refused to service them properly.

Good thing that Butterss is gone and we have a more professional outfit in place.

Is Luke Ball still on Telstras books? Not only does he have to carry the burden of being left behind by Judd and Hodge, he also cost your club its major sponsor. No wonder his groins are stuufed carrying that weight on his shoulders.

I'm surprised the new administration didn't get on the phone to Voda to try and salvage that relationship when they moved in.

Actually, we did poach a Carlton person who is now on our board. Dana Nelson is head of Delware North and we managed to convince her that the Saints were a far better proposition than the Blues

Losing the Vodafone sponsorship had little to do with Ball and Telstra. The GM of Vodafone thought it would give him more kudos if he managed to wrangle a deal with the Blues, and was confident of doing so ...

Pratt screwed him over and he had already screwed us over, so there was no one left to turn to except the Kangaroos.

Would question how much of a Blues supporter Dana Nelson is.

So by convincing you mean, you told her about that Premiership window of opportunity of yours which is being moved to Frankston.

Did you tell porky's to get her to come to the dark side OWTS?

Why would anyone join a club board if they didn't support the club, and why would you ask them to join the board if they didn't support your club? :?

Getting paid to coach or administrate at another club is fine because its just their job, but if shes volunteering her time to help another club she's obviously not a real Carlton supporter. Strange business.

What a bitter bunch the Saints supporters are. From now on I will know them only as ;the Bitters'. Bitter theyve only got 1 flag, bitter theyve never had sustained success, bitter becuase they dont have a cultured hisotry and legacy.

Good to see Ahmed joining. Clear succession plan now and theres no conflict of interest as the club banks with Westpac.
