do you think it is safe to say you are an Andrew Walker supporter not a Carlton supporter?

This move that was made, sending Kennedy west for judd, was the best move FOR THE CLUB! not for Josh really, but football is a TEAM sport

ps - for what it's worth, I reckon footy was heaps better before all the money came into it. But there's no putting that genie back now.

Don't forget Richmond's role in this. We may well have been able to go back to West Coast and say, JK doesen't wanna go, we're only offering 3 and 20, and get away with it. We may have bee nable to do this if Richmond didn't butt into negotiations and make a "counter offer" to our proposal. I hope we make richmond bleed for years to come in the salary cap. Go after Foley, Deledio, (pick 2 this year), Connors, etc. Throw bags and bags of cash at them. Make them bleed!

Look it does send a bad message in a way. When Gibbs comes out of contract Adelaide will make a big play for him. Carlton will hope that he stays loyal but we're no longer in the position to ask him to be.

Such is life (with regards to players wanting to leave). But I'm confident that our playing group is settled and we don't have much to worry about with regards to homesickness. The fact that Gibbs barely slept after finding out Judd was coming is enough to suggest this :-D

Can't he be both? As a Carlton supporter, he's well within his rights to not be 100% happy with everything the club does - it comes down to personal opinion.

The chance of Gibbs leaving for SA was less than zero pre- Judd. Now is a 1000% less than zero. Both he and Murph think it is Christmas come early this week.

The only trouble we will have now is making sure both Gibbs and Murph don't run themselves into the dirt trying to keep up with Juddy on the training track.

I was just using an example. Two months ago the chance of Kennedy leaving was zero.

Josh could of said NO and was well within his rights to. I'm sure if the deal was for Jonathon Brown, Josh wouldn't of gone for the medical, at least the boy gets to be closer to home now, won't be that hard to re-adjust likes others have to do after today's trades.

Anyone in the know here? Did the players have a chance to catch up with Josh before or after the decision was made?

Could anyone tell me , if the club had to give away a player as part of the Judd package , if it wasn't JK who could it have been?

DOA if it wasn't JK, i'm guessing it could only have been Fev or AW.

I rate JK but i think losing JK doesn't hurt our club as much as losing Fev or AW.

Tragic to lose JK but he is going to a club where he might just make a Name for himself. I hope he does. And i'm glad we didn't lose Fev or AW.

Its sad and the point you make is soooooo valid....
Its a sign of the times.

Now what i would love to see come seasons end is JK an Eagles regular,
CJ a star, FEV the Coleman, AW with his girlfriend at the Brownlow, and Hartlet in our best 22.... 8)

But thats just me.

We now have two Judd types to tear up our midfield - the real Judd and 1AW - you must watch different games.

Keeps making the same mistakes grrofunger.
His decision making isnt all that great and his kicking isn't all that flash either. I've heard Robert Walls on many occasions questioning whether he has the smarts to take his game to the next level. I hope he can become an elite player but im not sure that he will. fingers crossed that he will be a gun

I had the same concerns with Kouta as well, looked way too laconical to reproduce his best on a consistent basis. Wasn't until 99-00 when he finally did. Was never a great kick or decision maker neither. So what's your point :?

Yep, Neale Daniher said it succinctly - "Footy does really suck sometimes".
