Went down for a kick of the footy with Cammo today at Glenferrie Oval.
We're sitting down having a rest when who should rock up?

Wayne Johnston.

Doing a bit of fitness to get back in a little bit of shape after a month of pissing it up as he told Cammo. Had a quick chat to him about Tomi and the Dragons. Reckons Denis loved Tomi and was keen on him but the decision had already been made. Really nice bloke.

Also coming out of Linton Street at the set of lights on Glenferrie Road and one Jarryd Roughead tries to barge his way in to traffic only to have me cut him off and give him a spray for his effort.

He may be losing his cash.

He may be losing his hair.

He may have lost the body he used to have.

But he will never lose his reputation as the greatest finals player of his generation.

It really eats at me.....every time I see him running for Richmond. :x :x

Me too!

He's one of ours and home is with Carlton.

With our finances on the up there should be a time earmarked when our favourite sons are welcomed back as a valued resource for culture, for development for their wisdom, and for us, the supporters who worship them.

I personally think there isn't a spot for him,we have enough midfielders and he would be another similiar to Blackwell if he got a gig.

The Dominator was the best in the business. End of story. Who cares about his off field exploits. It never affected his football. Absolute legend of our club through the 80's.

The Dominator was a fantastic player and real warrior for the club and he kicked the big goals when they needed to be kicked...
He could give Roughead some advice...my daughter and her friends saw him at a nightclub and he needs some guidance.....

So do most young men with too many distractions in their generation.

It's all about perception too.....

So I take it the hawks don't provide a chaperone for Roughead, as they do for Franklin?

Buddy's like the highest-maintenence girlfriend you ever had.

Let's just say the club had a few issues regarding certain aspects of Johnno's behaviour and leave it at that.

Best left alone.

But one day though, when the time is right, all legends of the club should be guided back to the light.

Hmmmm, if that was my daughter, EB, I'd be telling her to run the other way.
Reading the "Leadbelly" book atm about Melboune's underworld. Johnno gets a bit of a mention  .

A GG can get EI.
