I'm only bringing it up because I dont believe that playing all the kids with whole games is the right way to go but Campbell is 25 and Taylor is 24 and 9 months and both of them only started getting matches when their reserves form warranted it... (ie. niether have 70 games under their belt)
Thanks for that CM...and I agree that it's preferable for kids, especially ruckmen to do their apprenticeship under the tuition and guidance of a ruck master, as well as strengthen their body to withstand the ultimate physical body assault of any player on the field.
If they are mid 20's and have served an apprenticeship, then power to Hawks for doing the right thing by both of them. This implies that Hampson, Aisake and Jacobs, if they are to make it as ruckmen, need another 4-5 years before they peak (not surprising), then we HAVE tTO POACH a competitive, ready made ruckman NOW.

Sorry bondi. Campbell isn't quite your magical 200+cms. He must just be a stop gap until one of the younger true ruckmen come through.
Shit, you again...you always catch me out.
Look I he looked as though he was 210 cm against Ackland on Friday, so he musn't be far off 200 cm. Haven't got time to check, but will later....he better not be 199.7cm Mordan! Regardless, if he's under 200, he's under 200. Cheers Mordan...keep on keeping on!
Put it this way he looks the minimum size for a ruckman, and if he's what you call a B Grade ruckman, a stop gap, then it must be obvious to everybody that Ackland is a C Grade ruckman...what have we become?
